Fanfiction can be sexualized but it definitely doesn´t have to be. There are incredibly written stories with solely platonic relationships or romantic relationships that don´t go into detail in that aspect. I´ve read the equivalent of novels and some of those felt better than their source material. Although tbh I´ve never really looked into the OUAT fandom, I could change that sometime. The Bae flashback stands out to me in this episode. I love that Rumple voluntarily chose to make Bae hate him in order to protect Bae from the darkness. And when Rumple let Bae go later that was still not intentionally. Rumple was simply scared and couldn´t let go of the power. Which is why he instantly regretted it once Bae was gone and immediately set things in motion to do the dark curse. Because if he just went along with Bae´s plan and go with him he wouldn´t have had to worry about Bae getting corrupted by power. Since in our world there wouldn´t have been any power. Also, I´m not 100% certain about this, but I think in no flashback before we ever saw Bae use/hold the dagger. Rumple always kept it save, even from his son. Which in retrospect is definitely because of the events in this episode. He didn´t want his son to be tempted by that power again. Even if the memory wiping already caused Bae to resent that power anyway.

I'm not sure if it was actually confirmed in an episode, but I think it was suggested that Emma's superpower isn't always reliable when she's very emotionally invested in the situation. I suppose when her guard is down, she's not gonna be on alert. When her defenses are up, she's better at noticing anything that would seem suspicious. The Black Fairy is sort of trapped in an alternate world. She only has enough power to visit other worlds long enough to steal children and take them back to her world. Considering what desperate measures Rumple resorted to, to try to get to our world, manipulating many things for centuries so that Regina would inevitably cast the Dark Curse, I'm sure the Black Fairy is involved in a similar scheme to free herself of her own world. Don't worry, we'll get plenty of Black Fairy content in future episodes.

that would make sense for Emma, especially with being around Hook who is supposed to be the one person she shouldn't have to use her super power on. Ahh I didn't realize she only had the strength to do that and nothing else. Well at least she's not buzzin around causing other havoc! lol

I think Rumple just magic-ed them all dead using his Dagger. His dagger is (and this is me assuming from how he used it before) like a wand. It helps him focus on his magic and he can do more powerful things than he could without it, like killing all the Ogres. Belle's hair looks really good in this episode. lol, My Cat, Radar, decided to watch you too. Yeah, I'm not a huge fan of the new actor who plays Bae. I mean he's a good actor and he sounds similar to him, but he looks nothing like the last one. Though I do have to admit, he does look like Rumple. THe Grindle was in Once Upon A time in Wonderland, it's throwing me off too... Wow, Bae. Wow. He was commanded not to stop him, so I think him doing it for him was the only way he could help him. His heart is already dark, but he can save Gideon from the same fate. I spit out my tea when you threw the water bottle rofl All the men have stupid faces except for Henry. lol I write Fanfiction and it gets a bad rep with how many sexual ones there are. I write normal stories lol
