Hawkeye- Thank you very much for your reactions for the first few episodes of Hawkeye the series on Disney Plus so far, Jessie!! I am so happy to hear that there is someone else out there who actually enjoys Hawkeye like I do. Because most people who love these movies and characters, consider Hawkeye the weakest of the Avengers, and some sadly don't even like him at all, so far as I've heard. Which is really sad, because I absolutely love him!!! I think that the superheroes who don't have any special powers or super strength, are some of my favorite superheroes. This definitely includes Hawkeye. And I really enjoy these first three episodes so far. Mostly for Hawkeye himself, but also because this show is set during Christmastime, and after the events from Avengers: Endgame. Now... I absolutely love Jeremy Renner as an actor. He's actually one of my all time favorite actors, and Hawkeye is one of my very favorite of the Avengers. For many reasons. So, I was especially excited for this show to come out above all the rest of the Marvel shows on Disney Plus. I love each of the characters we've gotten shows for so far, but so far... I haven't been too impressed by any of them. Falcon and the Winter Soldier is by far the best among them before now, and even still... I didn't like it as much as I hoped I would given that I love the characters. Bucky especially. It had its problems for sure. I am truly hoping that Hawkeye will continue to impress me after these first three episodes so far. Especially after episode three, which is phenomenal! :) Clint has been brilliant so far. :) However, I definitely want to continue to see more focus on him, given that this show is called Hawkeye and not the Kate Bishop Show. Sometimes, I don't feel like we get enough of his character... at least in the first episode. I get that this newest character needs to be introduced for whatever role she is meant to play in the future of this Universe, but more Clint Barton/Hawkeye would be fabulous! As for Kate Bishop... So far, she's just okay to me. I think she's a little too full of herself and trigger happy. And I am never a fan of these kind of characters, who really have no place interfering in such dangerous affairs while believing they can beat the bad guys on their own. At least she's more than happy to fight alongside Hawkeye. Nonetheless... I am looking forward to seeing more interaction between her and her hero now that she and Hawkeye have come together. I love Clint's story arc so far, and I love that we're getting to see his struggles upon losing Natasha and his entire family during the events of Endgame, as well as with trying to move on since he helped fight the big war against Thanos, losing a majority of his hearing, and from being Ronin and reverting back into the assassin he had been before he became an agent for SHIELD. Marvelous!! :) Thank you once more for these amazing reactions for a great show I am thoroughly enjoying, dear friend! I can't wait to continue watching your reactions for more Hawkeye!! I've always wished that Hawkeye would get his own movie like Black Widow finally did. Sadly, he's the only one of the original Avengers who doesn't have his own movie. I have especially hoped we would finally get a backstory about how Clint and Natasha first meet. While this show is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame, I still hope we will learn about his past with Natasha too. Until next time, my friend... And thank you! Sincerely, Heidi
