Sorry to have missed the first two episodes, but "Snow Falls" is the first ep that really gets footing for the show I think! Funnily enough, I also tend to blurt out at the weirdest times forgotten thoughts, so when you went "JACK", I laughed out loud! Besides the Hidden Mickey game, another good game to play is Once actors/Marvel actors...Josh Dallas (aka Prince Charming) was also Fandral in the first Thor (he couldn't continue being Fandral because of Once and was replaced by Zachary Levi...both of whom have also voiced animated Disney characters....another fun game). It's fun to find more as they come along. There is a LOT of cross-overs!

And just another side Kevin Baconish note...Jennifer Morrison played Chris Hemsworth's wife (Thor himself) in Star Trek, which also starred Zoe Zaldana, who was in Guardians of the Galaxy with Chris Pratt. The kid who played Pratt's younger version also plays the younger version of another Once character...I could literally do this all day!

That happens to me all the time, I have to just stop thinking about whatever I’m trying to think of and it’ll come to me. I was like I really hope people remember what the heck I was talking about in regards to blurting out Jack otherwise that’s just going to look really weird LOL I’m so mad that I don’t have the first two episodes! I had no idea I would be going this far with YouTube and at the time I was doing it on my brothers computer, so I don’t wanna take up space. I think at some point I’m going to rewatch them again just for fun and record it lol I need to open my eyes more to the actors, like someone pointed out that The Hatter is Sebastian Stan who plays Bucky and I love him!! I knew he looked familiar, I’m eve watching the new Marvel show with him currently lol I love all these little Easter eggs!

Snow Falls- Yay!! Thank you so much for another fantastic reaction for one of my favorite episodes from season one of Once Upon a Time!!! I absolutely love this episode so much because it's so centered around Snow White and Prince Charming, who are easily one of my favorite True Love couples throughout this show. Snow and Charming have beautiful chemistry together, and it's easy to see that the actors who play them are falling in love with one another too, as they are and then later come to marry one another. This episode really shows how perfect they are together. Now... I love both storylines taking place... the present within Storybrooke and the past within the Enchanted Forest. The parallels that connect the two storylines are phenomenal, and they're both just a lot of fun. First... poor Mary Margaret is on a date that's clearly going nowhere and Dr. Whale is clearly not into Mary Margaret at all. And sadly, she catches him even looking at Ruby inappropriately too, which makes for her night to be even more miserable. Then, Mary Margaret leaves and finds Emma in her car searching for an apartment to live in upon deciding she wants to stay in Storybrooke more permanently. And yet Emma can't find a place because there aren't any apartments vacant, and no one including Granny is willing to give her a room because of Regina. However, Mary Margaret isn't afraid to go against her any longer and she offers Emma the spare room in her apartment, But Emma refuses her at first, stating that she's not really comfortable with having a roommate, although I suspect it has more to do with Henry's belief that Mary Margaret is really Snow White and supposedly her mother. Yes... Emma has been searching for her parents her whole life, but upon facing even the slightest possibility that she might have finally found them, it terrifies her. Next... Henry convinces Emma to help him bring Mary Margaret and the coma patient together because he believes they are one another's True Love's. Henry even points out that the scar on John Doe's cheek, is the same scar on Prince Charming's cheek shown in the pictures of Prince Charming in his storybook. A fun side note... the actor who plays Charming... Josh Dallas, actually has a scar there from an accident he got into when he was much younger, and so the creators had the writers wrote his scar into his character's storyline to add a bit more to his character. This is why Snow White hitting Charming across his jaw with a rock was so important to the past storyline. And it adds to the playful banter between him and Snow White, which I will get into more later... Back to the present storyline... Emma convinces Mary Margaret to read to John Doe, not because she believes Henry's beliefs, but because she thinks that if Mary Margaret were to try and nothing happened, it would help Henry to understand that these fairytales aren't real after all, without really hurting him. It's very clever, though devious too. So, Mary Margaret agrees and as she's reading Snow White's and Prince Charming's story to the coma patient, John Doe suddenly reaches out to grab her hand, though he still remains unconscious. However, her voice breaks through his subconscious mind and now he's slowly begun to awaken. I love this about their storyline. It's really quite a beautiful part of their storyline. Unfortunately, Dr. Whale calls Regina to inform her that John Doe's begun to wake up. Whale isn't really a bad guy, but like so many others throughout Storybrooke, like Henry's therapist Archie and Granny, he's afraid of what Regina could do to him should he not do as she asks of him. However, he is a jerk for looking at Ruby as he does while on a date with Mary Margaret. Everyone is afraid of Regina, aside from Mr. Gold and Henry, and now Emma, and even Mary Margaret isn't afraid to stand up to her to a degree because of Emma. Now... when Emma, Henry, and Mary Margaret arrive at the hospital the next morning, they run into Sheriff Graham and find Regina standing over an empty bed because John Doe's disappeared. And so Graham and Emma lead Mary Margaret and later Henry on a search for John Doe through the woods upon discovering that he had awakened in the middle of the night and walked out into the woods on his own. When Henry arrives later, he claims that John Doe is out in the woods looking for Mary Margaret in his confusion upon hearing Mary Margaret reading the story of how Snow White and Prince Charming met and fell in love. In the past back in the Pilot episode, Charming had fallen unconscious after being stabbed by the Evil Queen's guards and was in this state when the curse fell over him and everyone else. This is why Charming is in a coma within the present day storyline. And now because he was in his unconscious state when the curse fell over him, his cursed memories that the Evil Queen has cursed him with and his real memories are fighting for dominance within his mind. So while David doesn't know who he really is, as in the end he states he has no memory of who he is, subconsciously he is trying to find something that feels familiar to him. Something that feels real to him and because Mary Margaret was reading their story to him when he had begun to awaken, and a small part of him barely remembered his true past, he really was seeking Snow White out, by searching for her at the troll bridge, which in Storybrooke is known only as the toll bridge. Although, someone cleverly added an "R" with spray paint, and I really love this small detail. Now... they finally find David once again unconscious with his face within the water and nearly drowned. Graham and Emma carefully pull him from the water and then Mary Margaret immediately begins CPR. Now it may have seemed strange that it seemed like Mary Margaret was kissing him more than giving him mouth to mouth, but I feel that maybe she felt she was failing to save him and so I feel that she was pleading with him to live and subconsciously, her memory of kissing Charming back in the Enchanted Forest before the curse fell over them took over her and her instinct was to kiss him. And this time, her doing so was powerful enough to fully wake David up. While there's no magic in the real world, True Love's Kiss is the most powerful form of magic there is and it's powerful enough to break through into a non magic world. We have seen magic break through into this world before, back when Emma chose to stay in Storybrooke, which broke the time freeze allowing time to move forward again. Because Emma is the Savior, destined to break the Evil Queen's curse. And lot more has begun to change too that will soon be revealed. :) Unfortunately, when they get John Doe back to the hospital, Regina is there once again with the next part of her plan to keep Mary Margaret and David apart, as David's "wife" suddenly barges into the room and Regina exclaims some bogus story about how Kathryn is his wife, who didn't know David was here in a coma all this time, and that David was supposedly calling out for a Kathryn while in his coma at nights. And because Kathryn's as cursed as everyone else, she sadly believes this story to be the only truth she knows too. Regina will do whatever it takes to keep Snow White and Charming from being together. She's very manipulative and devious. Now, back to the past storyline taking place within the Enchanted Forest... I love this storyline. I love Snow's and Charming's love story from the beginning. Not only do these actors have beautiful chemistry, but I also really love their banter back and forth from when Snow strikes Charming with the rock, to the end when he finally reveals to Snow his name is really James. Yes... Prince Charming has a real name. And I love that Charming is really Snow's pet name she uses for him, that starts out as a way to mock him, but ends as a term of endearment. It's quite beautiful and fun. In all of the fairytales of Snow White, including in the Disney movie, Prince Charming is the Prince's only name, but I love that Once Upon a Time makes it a term of endearment and a way to tease the Prince's character, rather than just keeping it as his only name. I love that he actually does have a real name like every one else. Once they save one another from the trolls on the troll bridge, Snow and Charming then have one final talk before Charming must return to the castle to meet up with his fiancée and Snow must take the money she took back from the trolls to buy herself passage out of the Enchanted Forest so she can find a safe place to hide from the Evil Queen. However, they share one final moment together as Charming shows her his mother's ring and Snow quickly takes it to put it on her own finger. And at that moment, Charming looks at her and realizes that love is possible. Then they both go their separate ways. However, because we see them together in the first two episodes and see them getting married in the Pilot episode, we know that they wind up together again, and that in Storybrooke, Kathryn isn't really David's wife. She's only cursed to believe they're together, and David still has no memory of who he is in either world. I truly love this episode so much! It's so beautiful. I can't wait for more! I'm so happy you're enjoying this show so far. So, until your next reaction... Thank you so much, Jessie! Sincerely, Heidi

Pilot- Thank you so much for a fabulous first reaction for Once Upon a Time, Jessie!! I am so sorry that I missed out on being able to watch your reaction for the Pilot and second episode of this phenomenal and beautiful show. However, I'm really happy to hear that you're intrigued by the storylines. I truly hope you're excited to watch more. So... thank you again! This Pilot episode is amazing! I love both the storylines for our characters back in the Enchanted Forest, as well as for our characters in the present day... in Storybrooke. In the present, everyone is cursed without memories of who they truly are and who their loved ones are, and where they have all been frozen in time until now... now that Emma has arrived and has begun to change things and weaken the curse over everyone, simply by choosing to stay in town because she sensed something wasn't right with the woman raising her son as her own. Not only do people have no memories, but they also haven't aged a day, which is why Snow White and Emma are now about the same age... the same age like all fairytale characters were in the Enchanted Forest just before the curse swept them away to our world. As for the Evil Queen's happy ending... she cast this curse over the heroes for a reason yet to be revealed. She wants everyone to suffer, while she's happy in the knowledge that they are all separated from their loved ones and miserable. This is why she says that the world they're about to be transported to is so horrible. Not simply because our world itself is horrible. It's possible she has all of her memories intact from the her previous life in the Enchanted Forest, which is foreshadowed, or is implied when she stands in front of her mirror while holding the storybook. Regina is the town Mayor and has complete control over everyone because everyone's miserable and afraid of her. Afraid to defy and stand up to her. That is their curse, and her happiness. Now... I love Emma and the storyline with her being destined to be the Savior, and I love that she is Snow White's and Prince Charming's daughter. I also love Snow White, Prince Charming, Regina the Evil Queen, and of course Rumplestiltskin... otherwise known as Mr. Gold in Storybrooke. He's so creepy and brilliant! And Henry is adorable. I love seeing the rest of the characters shown so far in Storybrooke as well. One of my favorite scenes in this Pilot... I love the beginning scene where Prince Charming gives Snow White True Love's Kiss in order to wake her from the Evil Queen's poison from the apple. It's so beautiful and what a romantic setting as the snow is falling around them. And another of my favorite scenes... I love the curse coming and sweeping over the entire kingdom as the Evil Queen boasts to Snow White about how she won and that the only happy ending would be her own, until Snow proclaims that Emma will one day find them and defeat the curse and therefore the Evil Queen herself. That good always wins. What a phenomenal moment! And then... I also absolutely love the moment between Emma and Henry at the playground, when Henry assures Emma that he understands she had given him up in order to give him his best chance, like Snow White and Prince Charming did for her too. And the moment Emma tells Henry that she believes she had been abandoned by her parents, then adopted until she was three, only to wind up back in the foster homes... so sad. Emma has definitely had a tragic life and she doesn't believe in herself. This is just such a sad, yet powerful moment. :) And lastly... I absolutely love the chemistry between Charming and Snow White, which is fabulous, because the actors chosen to play them... Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas... are married in real life. They met on the set of the show and fell in love throughout the filming of season one, then married sometime early on during the filming of season three. And now they have two children together. Their chemistry is beautiful and their love story is very real. I absolutely love them. :) Your journey into this show has just begun and I can't wait for you to watch and react to more!! I think you will absolutely continue to love Once Upon a Time. At least... I do hope you will. Thank you again! Until your next reaction, my friend... Sincerely, Heidi

The Thing You Love Most- I love this episode so much!!! Regina as the Evil Queen is absolutely a phenomenal villainess!! :) Now... I really love both the past storyline with the Evil Queen in the Enchanted Forest, as well as Regina (the Evil Queen) in Storybrooke too. My favorite scenes being between the Evil Queen and Rumplestiltskin in his prison when she asks about the curse and it's revealed that she must crush the heart of the thing you love most... and between Regina and Mr. Gold in the very end by Regina's apple tree. The actors who play them (Lana Parrilla and Robert Carlyle), play off of one another very well. They're both brilliant and their characters are so powerful and scary. I think that the actor who plays Rumplestiltskin and Gold is very good at being crazy and he's a phenomenal character in this show. As for how Gold may appear to be awake, or remember his real self... Regina's face of shock in the very end has begun to suspect that he must be, and it's clear she never intended for him to be. However, him possibly being aware of the truth, is fantastic! It's helps to build up the mysteriousness around him. :) I also really love the friction and battle of wits between Regina and Emma too. They also play off of one another very well. I think it is hilarious that Emma cuts one of the branches from her apple tree, because Emma senses that the Mayor's threat towards her in the beginning when she comes to give Emma a basket of apples. And while yes... what Emma does here is a felony against the law and because they live in the real world, the laws are the same. And yet the laws of the real world outside of Storybrooke doesn't necessarily work in the same way as they do in Storybrooke. Storybrooke is a world filled with fairytale characters, brought over from the Enchanted Forest. And while no one remembers who they really are... Regina does and so she doesn't necessarily abide by the laws like she would be held to outside of their town. And she's the Mayor, so she can enforce them however she wishes to. And I really love this! It's very interesting, because Storybrooke isn't a part of the real world outside of this town. Next... I really love the scene between the Evil Queen and her father just before she kills him by ripping out his heart with her bare hands. It's so dark and yet so sad too because you really see the pain her eyes doing so causes her. Regina is evil and is willing to go so far that she was able to kill her own father, which makes her a terrifying enemy. I also really love that we find out the Henry is named after her father, as Rumple points out in the very end. It's sweet, but also twisted since Regina has killed her father. But her naming Henry after her father shows us that she really does love Henry in spite of how cruel she can be, even to him. Next... I really enjoy this show's portrayal of Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty too. She is really dark and smartly written, and I love that her castle is in the Forbidden Fortress. As for her look... she's rarely seen with her hair let out at all in any story of Sleeping Beauty, because she usually wears the black cowl with horns which covers up her hair. The only time outside of Once Upon a Time in which we see her hair is in the movie Maleficent with Angelina Jolie, when she wears her hair down. So I really love Maleficent's look and the design of her fortress where she lives in the Forbidden Forest. Oh... and Pongo from 101 Dalmatians is the dalmatian we see being walked by Archie/Jiminy Cricket in Storybrooke. Archie is Pongo's owner. In this show, you will see pretty much every fairytale character from all fairytales from the Disney movies, the Brothers Grimm fairytales, Hans Christian Anderson fairytales, fables, nursery rhymes, and even tall tales that you could possibly think of... all brought together in the same world. This show is so creative and beautiful, and all of the characters are brilliantly casted and amazing! And lastly... I really love the moments between Emma and Mary Margaret. I love how Mary Margaret helps Emma by bailing her out of jail, tells Emma that she feels like she knows Emma and that she trusts her, and encourages her to stay in town to take care of Henry. There are some really beautiful moments between mother and daughter throughout this episode, even though they're both unaware of their true relationship with one another. Emma is shocked upon Mary Margaret telling her that Henry believes her to be Snow White, which sparks a sudden realization that she's looking back at her mother after all these years of being all alone. However, Emma of course quickly shakes off this sudden feeling of recognition, as she refuses to believe anything in regards to Henry's belief in the curse and everyone truly being fairytale characters being real. But I really love this sudden recognition from Emma nonetheless. Thank you so much again, Jessie. I'm really happy to hear that you enjoyed this episode so much too. It's fantastic to see Regina's story and to see just how far she's willing to go in order to get her revenge on Snow White, as well as to rid Storybrooke of Emma, whom she now recognizes to be a very real threat to her and keeping the curse alive. And the end scene between Gold and Regina always gets everyone so intrigued to watch more. It's absolutely brilliant! I can't wait for your reaction for the next episode!!! Snow Falls is one of my favorite episodes from this season, so I'm so excited! Until then, dear friend... Sincerely, Heidi

Mine too!! She and Rumplestiltskin are both phenomenal, all thanks to their actors... Lana Parrilla and Robert Carlyle. Incredible!!!

Heidi Elizabeth Marcum

Yes it is. Snow White's and Prince Charming's love story is absolutely beautiful. And you can see that their actors really are falling in love too. Bravo to Ginnifer Goodwin and Josh Dallas!! :)
