Thank you as always for a great reaction and of course we will continue our high sea adventures with season 4 :) Yeah, season 3 barreled down to its conclusion. Vane's fate last episode seem both somehow inevitable and yet impossible until it happened. He and Eleanor had this push and pull dance over control of Nassau since the beginning and this being the ending of it just really was allowing the actors and the script to sing. Which brings us to the actual theme of this season. Leadership and the struggles inherent in it. While Vane will not continue as a leader yet his last act is the spark for a rebellion. He still chose to use this moment as a symbol of inspiration. Like I said this was huge season for Silver and his assessment that he combined quality of both Flint (as a feared leader) and Madi (as a beloved one) makes him truly dangerous. No longer a smiling charmer now he is a man with plans. Jack also grew as a leader, Madi was introduced as a leader in making (and nice foil for Eleanor), we got to see Teach and Flint adapt to further challenges and of course both Max and Eleanor deal with their changed positions. A nice through-line. That round table at the end with Madi stepping to the plate with our 4 captains was just excellent. A pirate alliance in a making. And of course it is just a backdrop for Billy creating the legend of Long John Silver.
