god this episode gave me so much anxiety when i first watched it. now we know why even went back to sonja. isak told even in the locker room that he didn't talk to his mom because he didnt want mentally ill people in his life, so this scared even away and thats why he called things off. sonja implying that even does not love isak because he is mentally ill is so incredibly messed up. she had no right to take her frustration out on isak.

The ending of this episode does such a good job putting the viewer in Isak's shoes. Isak starts catching on and realizing something strange is happening just as the viewer starts questioning Even as well. I do think this explains a lot of Even's "oddness", which is why fans already, who have seen it all, definitely don't look at all his actions as "weird" or "dismissive of Isak" as much as a first-time viewer does. Also, like Roze said, Isak makes quite a few comments about "crazy people" throughout the whole show and then also in front of Even as well in the locker room.
