Just then, another player began to walk towards the closed entrance to the mansion. “Oh!” spoke the K.D., an anthropomorphic shark species also known as a K’aylogh Dzuk. “Wow, I thought I was the only one who got here early.” The white and pink shark chuckled while approaching the father-daughter pair. “I’m Rita— uh— she, her. It’s nice to meet you.”, she smiled nervously as she extended a hand to the green Praesegen. He shook her hand firmly. “You, too. My name is Virgo, and this is my daughter, Vivian.” The young girl spoke up quickly. “You can call me Viv!” The blue-haired shark woman chuckled softly, her long hair, held up by a flower crown of pink forget-me-nots, bouncing softly during her laugh. “Of course, nice to meet you, too, Viv. So, what brings you two to Kiiru’s Murder Mystery Mansion? Did something about it catch your eye?” 

“I figured it would be the perfect vacation for me and my kid. She loves detective shows and stuff like that.”, Virgo answered. Rita’s eyes widened with intrigue. “Oh really?”, she began gleefully. “I’m a fan of true crime myself. This is actually my 6th time attending this place!” The investigator cocked his thick, blonde eyebrows. “You must… really be a fan of this game, then.” *And really well-off…* She nodded rapidly with an agreeing hum. “Kiiru has such a masterful way of setting the scene- and the props and atmosphere just get better and better each year! I wish I could come more than just once every summer, but, I’m sure you know that these tickets are *expensive*.” That actually got a chuckle out of Virgo. “You can say that again. I, at least, hope it’s worth the price.”

“Oh, it definitely is! You get to eat homemade gourmet food for every meal, high quality fabrics and mattresses to sleep on, and incredible—no, *magical* entertainment in between.”, the eager shark lady explained, clearly enthralled by gushing about her favourite thing in the world. “I feel like you’re just spitting the ads at me.”, Virgo grinned cynically, which made Rita reply with a laugh.
