In my world, which contain a closed-off species of fairies, I like to believe that all fairies are born from flowers or various plant-life. They have to family, only community and a kin towards the flower they were born from. I also like to believe that when the fairies emerge from their flowers, they're fully grown and fully developed adults, and then they go out into the world and do fairy things.
