hi!!!!! for the younger person with the struggle with therapy — as far as my understanding goes, im pretty sure diagnoses are the jobs of a psychiatrist and therapists are in general not really allowed to diagnose ppl? but again please please double check this, i say it just bc it’s what i understand based on my experience + friends n family

I agree with Claire completely, except I think you could ask for the stones/ring to be reset after a few weeks post engagement - maybe he already has that in mind to suggest

Loafer comments open to the interpretation that you’re suggesting loafers with visible socks would be better? You’re just suggesting actual shoes for a wedding, right?

I do not believe that girl dating a priest. I need proof. Like wtf….

I love that someone finally said get rid of manifestation! It’s so annoying and overused and as Claire pointed out ignores the hard work that goes into whatever results you “manifested”

Yesssss These were my exact thoughts! Girl just watch Fleabag! It doesn’t end well! (But is truly amazing, high art, in my novice opinion….. although, I think I’m an expert TV watcher… just a novice art critic 🤔🤔🤔)

I’m super late to this but hopefully this gets to the person who’s having trouble in therapy. There a lot of studies that back what you’re feeling, at least in trauma or cognitive therapy. Studies show that patients are more successful in therapy if they are able to express their true emotions in their native language. This means that if it’s easier to describe your feelings in English, it’s best to have a therapist who understands and speaks English. A clinical psychologist and the lab I worked in wrote a paper on it and there are many others on this topic. It’s called “Lost in translation: A glance at immigrant narratives in two languages” by Dr. Amanda Venta and Cassandra Bailey and me haha. I’m so sorry your going through this but I hope this helps convince your mom because that therapist should know better!

I was going to say this but stopped because i figured Poland just has different methods maybe

Maybe this is an Australian thing. We have a video but it’s not on social media. God couldn’t imagine anyone else wanting to watch us except us!
