Hi everyone! Apparently, new Sims 4 update (14th of June) broke most of the sliders, custom content (skins, hairs etc.), mods and so much more. This means lots of Sims will be broken as well!

Please do not update your game until this situation is being fixed (This is my suggestion, not an obligation. But if you update your game, prepare to play the game terribly bugged until it's getting fixed). Otherwise, your game will suffer really badly due to broken systems, CCs and most importantly, sliders.

How do you not update your game?: When you are in Origin launcher, (from left top) click Origin > click Go offline and you should be fine. Make sure your orange button says "play", not "update".

I will keep a close eye on this and let you know the situation if it goes better.

I will keep sharing sims as i didn't update my game and not plan on updating it until they solve these issues (or all these affected sliders gets fixed).

-LITTLE UPDATE ON THIS- (15 June 22)

For the moment, i'm following this thread as it's usually really helpful to gather all the info together. Also following the modders' pages/patreons to receive more info. Honestly, i don't update my game quite often as every update breaks more and more so often. I get that some mods and sliders can be get broken but even skins and hairs, make-ups? I might not update my game ever since all my gameplay mods, sliders, skins and many others are working fine for the moment.

Teanmoon, cmar, luumia and obscurus are few to name that their sliders got broken. Hopefully, they can be able to update their sliders. If not, i've heard that even if the sliders are broken, the changes that being made with sliders remain same as long as you don't touch to face (not confirmed though). Patch is still new. I'll wait for a few weeks for everything to settle down. That's what i usually do to update my game to see how the modders handle things (if i do update my game).

Meanwhile, any sims are safe to download if you haven't updated your game. I'm not sure how exactly update effects the sliders and existing sims.

Edit: Obscurus confirmed that they will update their sliders as soon as s4s and morph maker are updated.

Edit 2: Looks like so many CC, mods and sliders affected from this. It might take weeks to settle everything down, if not months. I highly recommend not to update your game for a while. Tumblr looks scary by all the creators' posts that their cc are heavily affected and it will take a long time to fix them all.

-Update- (15 June 22)

Edit 3: Even if the sliders are broken, the face will remain exactly same as it is confirmed by many simmers. You can change makeup etc but if you don't touch their facial structure (bone, shape etc), they will look the same! ♥

-Update- (16 June 22)

Edit 4: You can take a look at this post i've shared to know what's coming next and how i will approach to the situation.

Is there anyway to downgrade your game after you have updated?

Hi Dylan! Unfortunately, afaik, it isn't possible. :( Good thing is, modders slowly updating their sliders and ccs. Hopefully, most of the things (if not all) will be fixed within a week or two. :)

So, cmar updated their morphmaker and it's fairly simple to update any sliders (presets seem to be working fine). I'll wait a week or a bit more to see if the respective modder updates their sliders. If they are not updating theirs or left the sims community already, we'll see what our options are.
