Announcement: New Regular Themetic (Patreon)

Hi everyone! Hope you all are doing great!

As you know, a few months ago, i've announced Brand New Townies. They had deeper stories than our usual released characters. With this themetic, i've been sharing 1 Brand New Townie each month. Since i received actually a lot of kind and good feedback, i thought i could add another new themetic.

Where did this idea came from?

On twitter, i've seen some absolutely amazing artists creating their OCs (both art-wise and some games like Second Life, Sims, Final Fantasy etc) and making a roster with their OCs. And then, putting them on a scene like they are in a fighting game. Like, Street Fighter, Tekken, Mortal Kombat and so on, you name it. But difference is, fighters are their OCs.

How can we find a place for them, in our sim world?

Well, at first, i couldn't find a way to put a fighting game themetic character into my sim world either. But then, a lightning struck. In any fighting game, they mostly fight with eachother, right? But then, there is this story part for each character. They have background stories, story playthroughs and so on. What if these characters were from one of your sim worlds, neighborhoods? Yeah, they fight and beat the s*** out of eachother. But then, they have an actual life. How would it be? If i put that way, i, we could find them an actual spot. Just like we did for brand new townies!

Are you going to create characters from fighting games? Will we see Chun-li or maybe Ryu?

No, i don't plan on create characters from fighting games. They will be my OCs as i usually do. But, they will have special outfits, like they are in fighting games. However, i can add some aspects to these new themetic characters from the OGs. Like, an OC of mine having these huge thighs of Chun-li. This is just an example. The themetic is still developing in my head hehe :)

So, what this themetic is called?

The themetic name is simple, just like Brand New Townies. New themetic is called: Pick Your Fighter!

When are you going to share these characters?

Currently, i finished working on 2 characters. Let's say, this Roster will have unlimited amount of character slots. Since these characters will belong to a new, regular theme, i will keep adding new characters to this Roster each month! Not sure about the monthly number for this themetic. But 1 or 2 would be a realistic answer.

I'm planning to release 4 characters at once on Friday, hopefully. 4 of them will be a starter bundle. And then, there will be 1 or 2 new character each month. Since i finished two of them, i can say that i really liked how they turned out. I'm hoping that you'll like them too!

Since they are going to be mostly human or maybe, hybrids, you can easily change their outfits to the daily/casual ones instead of fantasy looking ones. That way, you can use them as your townies, main sims etc. Since most of you like fantasy themed sims, this might be a nice additional regular themetic. :)
