Susan is Candice's mother. After she divorced, she took care of her daughter as a single mom for more than 15 years. She learned how to be a better version of herself just to give her daughter the life she deserves. She did her best to have a healthy life because she was scared that if she dies and her daughter had to deal with so many harsh things all alone... This thought kept her living an organic life. She's currently living her best days with her daughter, her son-in-law and her grandchildren. Also doing gardening stuff and organic vegetables and sells them to support their family. She doesn't enjoy being around Rodney (Terry's father) because they don't get along that well. Susan is a perfect grandma. She follows the trends to get along better with her grandchildren.
