Hello, got one of these things done over the week. The year changed, and then I took a nap, and now we’re here :v

I imagine Drosera having to hold something with one of her flytraps is the same as trying to hold a really heavy object with your teeth. Flytraps in real life use a lot of energy to close, and they’ll wilt away if they’re activated for nothing. As for Piengi, his situation made me realize that the plant people probably discovered velcro earlier than humans did. They’re supposed to have like 1850’s level technology, but velcro was made around a century later. Of course, it was a plant that invented the mechanics behind velcro before humans ever discovered it! So maybe they have some tools and stuff that were inspired by things they already do naturally.
