Hello everyone... it's time for me to write another update post... unfortunately, the news is not good.

Over the weekend, my mother suffered a heart attack. She thankfully lived, but her situation is very serious - the doctors discovered some defects in her heart valves and muscle, PLUS they also found that she is fighting pneumonia and a staph infection - she is at a high risk of developing sepsis. Currently she is admitted to a hospital in Winnipeg, and I will be going there every day until her condition changes for the better. Either today or tomorrow she will be getting an angiogram to help the doctors determine if she needs heart surgery.

I'm sorry I was only able to answer two questions for last month's Ask Us Anything. My mother's health has taken a dramatic decline, and I haven't had enough head space to work on any comic content nor anything more than the two AUA responses I made in early August. I have paused billing for the period of Sept 5 to Oct 5. - I wish I did that before the end of August, because I see that some of you were already charged for the month of September. I sincerely apologize for failing to take action sooner.

If you have already paid for the month of September and wish to receive a refund, please send me a message via Discord, Patreon, or email me at (rosheadraws@gmail.com).

Things are not looking good for my mother. My sister just arrived yesterday, flying in from Dallas. Several family members are coming to be with us, too. We are currently trying to decide whether we should stay in a hotel at/near the hospital, in case anything happens to my mother - it takes us an hour to drive from our home to the hospital - and every minute counts. Thankfully I have a little money saved for an emergencies, but it may not be enough to cover all the additional expenses, such as hospital parking, dog boarding, etc. As always, if anyone wishes to send me a donation to help with these expenses, please check out my Ko-Fi page.

Thank you all so much for your continued support, patience, and understanding,

Chantelle
