Reward Changes (Patreon)

The year is almost over and I'd like to thank you all for your continued support. Every little bit helps and I am sincerely grateful.

I want to outline a few changes to the rewards. Currently, the rewards revolved around a certain theme per month and while I can still do the themes, some times I have to come up with content for the theme or worse, force them. Themes will be loose so if there is a theme set, great. If not, not a problem. Note that the bikini theme will still happen for the September rewards.

The next change is that I will not force myself to a set number of pictures. I want to favor quality over quantity. If my heart is not set on the picture, then the picture will suffer.

Next is no more bonus picture. Half the time, I'm forced to take 1 picture away from the first tier to satisfy the bonus tier. Whatever art I create for the month will be together for a particular group.

High resolution images will be default so no more keeping two versions of the same picture. Since high resolution was the third tier, I can't move it completely to the first tier. I want to avoid shoving all the rewards into lower tiers. I will meet you halfway and move this tier up by one.

Since there is no more bonus tier nor the lower resolution tier, it feels a little empty in those tiers which we come to the next change, plot pictures. These will be the first tier and you will have some control over which characters get to show their assets. I will generate a list of 20 or so random characters from the MLP:FIM wiki (I have a custom script to generate this), create a poll for it and have the patrons vote for which characters they'd like to see the rumps of. There will be no fillies, foals, colts or any character that lacks significant visual information for a complete image. As of now, the list will only include ponies. The poll will be set to be voted multiple times so patrons can vote for more than 1 character. After half a month, I will announce poll closing and choose the top 3-5 characters. These images will be 1 character with either a white or simple background. Obviously, the characters in these pictures will be in similar poses but it's not about the pose, it's about who they are. I will be posting the poll for September after this message.

The next change will be getting access to my blog where I will be posting sketches, work in progress work, random doodles, stream notifications, instant access to rewards as they are finished and polls to vote on future content. Pledging to the relevant tier will get you access once your first pledge goes through. Beware that if you leave any of the relevant tiers or if your pledge fails to go through for more than a month will get you taken off the blog's access list. I'm also putting some trust into the instant rewards so if you're going to be in it, please be honorable and don't take and run.

Since sketches will be on the blog, they will not be a part of the rewards. PDF files will also not be a part of it since I feel it's redundant and mostly no one is taking advantage of its portability.

All the reward tiers are changed so please review the tier you are currently in and decide if you wish to stay or move to another one. Creating patreon rewards each month is a lot of work and time. I hope you all will continue to show your support so I can continue to bring you more.
