Gintama- "If You Don't Read the Nutrition Facts It's Your Own Fault" (Patreon)

Kagura was the tied winner for last, last week's fan art poll so I decided to go ahead and draw her right after Faye. I was just going to have her generically pigging out on rice and stuff but that changed when debuiscool - from DA asked if I wanted to do an art trade.

When I said I was going to be too busy this week working on this pic of Kagura, Debu was like "Oh, I love Gintama! Why don't we just do a collab then? " and so a fake plot for an episode of Gintama was born!

The only thing I'll say further about the pic is that I intentionally skipped the steps of adding blush and further embellishments to Kagura's skin tones partly to make it a little more like Gintama's animation style, and partly because Kagura is honestly younger than I would feel comfortable drawing under normal circumstances. In fact If it weren't canon (As far as canon matters in Gintama at any rate) that she's been obese or stuffed on a several occasions I would not have.  

Or, ya know... I could have just drawn the older version of Kagura from the later seasons. BUT I HAVEN'T SEEN THAT PART YET, DANG IT.
