-Skyrim versions:

Hi, so it is near end of the year, and from what i see, most of you guys are on SE/AE and almost none on LE, as I have always said in the past, I would continue to maintain LE if it had a minimum number of users, but I believe that this is no longer the case, SE/AE is much better than LE now, it has numerous better effects than LE, it runs better, it has DLSS, it's a big list, so I need to check how it goes, please vote down which skyrim you play!!!

Post will stay for a while so everyone can vote, if LE have fewer users than last time, I'll probably stop posting mod versions for LE...

-Things, Patreon page update:

Now, as I said in the middle of the year, after this "Poll" is over, I will delete many of the old mods, many of the ports from 2020, 2021, and some from the beginning of 2022, I intend to leave only mods that I consider good, or that have been updated, I want to leave mostly only the "mods made by me" completely, which as you know is what I do now, "Own creations".

Please don't abandon LE! I haven't made the "upgrade" to SE/AE for two reasons: 1) It took me a painfully long time to finally get my Skyrim looking exactly like I want and have it relatively stable and I'll probably need to take a week off work just to move my Skyrim to a new version. 2) So many of my favorite mods don't have an SE/AE version so if I have to upgrade, it just won't be the same. I did save copies a lot of your older mods but please don't completely delete them either! It'd be a terrible waste to throw away your great work.

Thanks!!! about the old posts, I'm going to delete the individual posts visible here, I intend to keep most of them, but in a single "new" post, just like on discord, with the title "old mods", I'm still going to delete some completely, which don't work well today/nowadays, and they generate complaints, about LE it will depend on the poll, if it's not as low as I think, then maybe I'll keep doing LE versions, but just for a while next year, but just like I said on discord, since the complex material, dynamic cube maps on SE/AE i have been making mods with SE/AE in mind for the best quality possible in the most used game here, so mods in LE hasn’t really reflected the correct visuals i have for them... : (

LE at this time feels like a classic 'ball and chain' to keep supporting. The number of people still using it is dwindling and new content is mostly for SE/AE only. I was LE only for a long time but after making some effort I've switched to AE and never looked back to LE. I would suggest the LE voters doing the same. Might be scary but you get a way more stable, performing and featurerich game in return. As for removing the old mods, I would like to suggest uploading them to 1 big Drive folder 'as is'. No updates and no support. It would be a real shame to lose some your earlier work, 'original' or not it's still good content. and people could pick up on them by making fixes/patches etc.

Completely agree here. From a technical POV, Skyrim LE is 10 years old. We are two entire console-generations ahead. Maintaining LE with its outdated capabilities is just too time-consuming and might break the game because of the newer tech used. It sadly is this way (let's hope they only have 1 version of the game for TES6). And just like modern tech, according to Moore's law, everyone has to move on at some point.
