Christy has just gotten used to her "monster" Milwaukee Brace. But now she is in trouble. She wakes up and can't feel her feet and notices her bed is wet. She calls emergency for help but and wakes in the hospital. The Dr. tells her the brace allowed her spine to compress causing nerve problems. She will spend a couple of weeks in traction before being put in a traction body cast again. And then must remain in bed. She is distressed when she hears she will need to wear diapers until she regains her bladder control.
