Q: Do you remember anything before the Second Liberation War? Or since the war?

Runaya: Of course, I remember, but my life was quite monotonous. My parents and I lived with a family of officials. We were their servants. I helped my mother a little, and I never thought about the fact that I could live in a different way. Until a certain moment... In general, I was an ordinary child of a servant.

Our master was not as bad as... others... He did a lot for the city and for all its inhabitants. For imperials and us. I even went to the school for several years which he organized. That's why I speak, read, and write Zelantian well, and I'm good at arithmetic.

If we talk about some special memories, I remember how we played with the master's daughter, Gella, when we were little. She was withdrawn and quiet, like me, which is probably why we became friends. But when the war started, I was 13, she and her parents were forced to leave for the old continent.
