AstroBook? (Patreon)

I do not know how to correspond in English, but I will briefly convey the information of the last days.

I participated in AstroZine last year, with an illustration of a Capricorn, and everything was fine, and the zine graduated. This year I have already stayed for the Book. It should have been larger and more impressive than last year. I took the Bat Nebula and asked if it was possible to combine the theme with the character, to which they replied that it was possible. 

Then the new organizers joined the project, and everything went in a very strange way. They told me in every possible way to edit the work and do some more sketches, because what is available now is not very suitable. I was not given a clear feedback on what I needed, and I did as I see.

On the last sketch, they was told that I had completely lost the idea, and it turned out that I had to start from the first illustration, which I was not clearly told initially. After that, they "condescendingly" tried to explain to me that "don't be offended, there is no place for offenses at work" and I simply could not stand it and left the project. I'm not at work, and I don't get paid for a bunch of edits. I do not know how to read their minds and what they need. Such projects exist only on the initiative of artists to participate in them, and when the organizers do not give a clear feedback on what to fix and how best, and with such a tone that you nobody is here, and we know everything better, then I do not want to take part in this.

But I will finish the last sketch for myself in the future. Because too much wasted nerves and time.
