Hey guys! Before May is over, I wanted to repost my Mermay artwork from last year in a nice convenient public bundle which I'll link on the main page so it's easier to find in the future.

Should I do Mermay again next year?

If you're curious, here are the inspirations for each of them:
• Diego - inspired by the mandarin fish.
• Alek & King - inspired by the lion fish.
• Finn & Chéri - inspired by the koi fish.
• Nik & Záchari - inspired by the cardinal fish.
• Jade - inspired by the parrot fish.
• Pavel - inspired by the shark.

You can also find them on our online store if you're looking for prints of those.

I loved your Mermay artwork last year so if you want to do it again next year I certainly won’t say no!

I was wondering if you were doing Mermay this year or not, but I didn’t want to bring it up because I knew you were busy. I’m not sure why, but Mermay became something I look forward to each year, even though I’ve only done it twice.

Maybe next year I could do the Faeries human forms as mermen? Or maybe I could do the Ero Angels as mermen? Or I could do the villains? Aaaah so many possibilities, so little time!

It's a lot of fun to do, but it's also pretty time consuming to do on the side of the comic. Last year I did Mermay, but didn't really do anything for Pride Month. This year, I skipped Mermay and am doing a Pride Month project instead.

I hear that. One reason why I only did the one or two entries this year and then began working on a Pride Celebration series of my own.
