Did I take too many liberties with this cosplay design: Yes.
Do I have regrets: No.

I think Hades' hairstyle makes him so recognizable that we can get away with doing something a little bit further from his official design. I like to think that this version of Hades leans into him being the black sheep among the gods. Like the rebellious brat who lashes out and goes "You don't even TRY to understand me, dad!" at Cronus.
