Evolution of Markus (NSFW) (Patreon)

So as you can see, Markus is one of the characters whose design has changed drastically from the initial concept. With that being said, I gotta admit that for me, it's the change to the third version that I'm most pleased with. I feel like his new iteration shows his vibe so much better, it has so much more personality in my eyes.

At first, I gotta admit I had no idea where I would take Markus, especially since I didn't have a lot of Virgos amongst my close friends for inspiration. But funnily enough, I started learning more about the sign after I decided to not make the guys so attached to their zodiac lol. Thankfully, this change in direction helped me make him much more nuanced and (imo) interesting than he was going to be otherwise.

It's a shame that we haven't had a chance to see him truly blossom yet, but I promise it's coming. I have a lot of ideas for him and I can't wait to see where he takes us. Without anyone knowing, he has become one of my favorite characters.
