Welcome to our Movie POLLS!

Welcome to the POLL LINEUP for the month of December! Please look at the schedule below. We have 3 Movie POLLS every month!

The Genre theme for this month will be Action!

Every Monday after the first week of the month- There will be POLLS to VOTE from and to make REQUESTS!

REQUESTS made on our POLLS make it a lot easier for us to find and add to our LIST!

Feel free to make REQUESTS in the comments below!

Monthly POLL lineup:

1st Monday-

Give us your Live Action and Animated requests for the genre that was selected for the month and also give us your regular requests as well for the other POLLs later in the month.

2nd Monday-

Genre-Specific Movie POLL (Live Action & Animation)

3rd Monday-

Live Action Movie POLL

4th Monday-

Wild Card POLL (mix of live-action and animated movies and maybe a brand-new movie)

Genre Selection Poll- Choose next month's genre theme for the Genre Specific POLL!!

Any extra weeks in the month will be filled with another Wild Card POLL!!

We guarantee at least 4 movies every month (including Movies that win our POLLS and a random Patron request).

Please allow us 1 to 2 weeks to watch and post the Movie Winner. We're usually able to it watch sooner.

Only 1 Movie can win each Poll. If multiple movies win, we will randomly select 1.

Why?

Our Patrons have very diverse opinions on what Movies they would like us to watch, so we try our best to accommodate everyone. Our most popular requests here have always been animations and superhero films which we mainly keep off of our POLLS due to some finding that unfair, so having 1 winner keeps options open for every active Patron here.

Movies that almost win are not guaranteed to be watched. We do surprise Movie Reactions when we can.

All Movies are Patreon Requests- whether popular or underdog. That way, every request has a chance :)

Most of our fans chat with us through Private Message, not on our Public Page, so please be respectful of everyone here. Movies that win are real votes.

Many of you have been with us for years and we love having you! Thank you for understanding how hard we work to create the same quantity of content as bigger channels do... while still keeping quality of course!

It makes us so happy when you enjoy what we watch! Thank you all for your support!

Have a great day!

THE OTHERS (2001, Period Drama, Horror): Okay, so for literally years, this movie couldn't be found on any streaming service. Well, now it's been remastered and is on Amazon Prime, Vudu, etc. The cinematography, music and acting in this is just beautiful and understated. Even though I know all the twists, it's so polished that I never tire of it. SECRET OF NIMH (1982, animated, sci-fi): I've suggested this before, and I think it even did fairly well on a poll once. Viewing becomes even more interesting when contrasted with other mainstream, hand-drawn movies of the time (like Disney's the Fox and the Hound). This was the first film by animator Don Bluth after he left Disney. Even though it has standard "kids film" tropes, like talking animals and flowery gesticulations, it really stands out with its slightly darker tone, Jerry Goldsmith's epic score, and the mixing of sci-fi and governmental agencies into the plot. MINORITY REPORT (2002, sci-fi, action, mystery): Collab between Spielberg and Tom Cruise. I think it's really aged well. Unique world-building, intriguing themes and great performances. RED EYE (2005): I think this is kind of an underrated little gem. Stars Cillian Murphy and Rachel McAdams. Not a flawless movie (not a big fan of the music score), but it's entertaining, and the less you know the better going into it. INNERSPACE (1987, sci-fi, comedy): One of the many films from the 80s that was touted as "Steven Spielberg presents." Directed by Joe Dante (Gremlins), but this one is even goofier. It's kind of an odd couple pairing between Dennis Quaid and Martin Short. Another beautiful score by Jerry Goldsmith. UNBREAKABLE (2000, drama, mystery): Again, this is one where I think it's better to not know the plot. But I will say it was directed by M. Night Shyamalan, and it had kind of lukewarm reception when it came out (including by me). However, more and more people have come to appreciate it. It has a real slow-burn quality that other movies of its genre simply don't have. I really love it now.
