The Genre theme for this month will be Musical

Every Monday after the first week of the month- There will be POLLS to VOTE from and to make REQUESTS!

REQUESTS made on our POLLS makes it a lot easier for us to find and add to our LIST!

Feel free to make REQUESTS in the comments below!

Monthly POLL line up:

1st Monday-

Give us your Live Action and Animated requests for the genre that was selected for the month and also give us your regular requests as well for the other POLLs later in the month.

2nd Monday-

3rd Monday-

Live Action Movie POLL

4th Monday-

Wild Card POLL (mix of live action and animated movies and maybe a brand new movie)

Genre Selection Poll- Choose next months genre theme for the Genre Specific POLL!!

Any extra weeks in the month will be filled with another Wild Card POLL!!

We guarantee at least 4 movies every month (including Movies that win our POLLS and a random Patron request).

Please allow us 1 to 2 weeks to watch and post the Movie Winner. We're usually able to it watch sooner.

Only 1 Movie can win each Poll. If multiple movies win, we will randomly select 1.

Why?

Our Patrons have very diverse opinions on what Movies they would like us to watch, so we try our best to accommodate everyone. Our most popular requests here have always been animations and super hero films which we mainly keep off of our POLLS due to some finding that unfair, so having 1 winner keeps options open for every active Patron here.

Movies that almost win are not guaranteed to be watched. We do surprise Movie Reactions when we can. (Usually 2-4 Surprise Movie Reactions a month)! That's a lot! Meaning up to 8 Movie Reactions total a month!

All Movies are Patreon Requests- whether popular or underdog. That way, every request has a chance :)

Most of our fans chat with us through Private Message, not on our Public Page, so please be respectful of everyone here. Movies that win are real votes.

Many of you have been with us for years and we love having you! Thank you for understanding how hard we work to create the same quantity of content like bigger channels do... while still keeping quality of course!

It makes us so happy when you enjoy what we watch! Thank you for your support and Happy Voting!

Have a great day!

It's been a minute since I reccomended it, but HEAT is one of the best action films of all time. A classic, it defined the Heist genre for years, to this day, even.

THE GREATEST SHOWMAN (musical/2017): I've watched this maybe a million times. And I bet that you're already pretty familiar with the songs, since they became such mainstream hits. Some people have issues with how the movie plays with history (it's not exactly a documentary). Also, admittedly, it's *very* sentimental and relies heavily on tropes and archetypes, so it's basically a fairy tale. That said, if you know what you're getting into, you'll enjoy it. LABYRINTH (musical/fantasy/1986): This quintessential '80s movie has developed a cult following since it originally bombed in theaters. Stars Jennifer Connelly, David Bowie in his infamous glam rock outfit, and directed by Jim Henson. What's interesting is that it's rarely referred to as a musical, even though it clearly is. IN THE HEIGHTS (musical/2021): Adapted from a pre-Hamilton Lin-Manuel Miranda play. This never really caught on with general audiences, though I think maybe if it had been released not so close to the pandemic, it would've done better. UNBREAKABLE (mystery/drama/2000): I know this was just on a poll, but I guess I'll continue to ask for it. Shyamalan's follow-up to "The Sixth Sense," Unbreakable received only lukewarm response upon its release. However, I think it's gained more admiration as time has passed. (That's certainly been true for me. I was nonplussed about it originally, but now I love it.) It has Shyamalan's typical slow-burn plotting and deliberate dialogue, so expect that. It also has Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson. THE SECRET OF NIMH (animated/sci-fi/1982): I think the history of this one is really interesting. Based on a book and directed by Don Bluth, an ex-Disney animator to inaugurate his new studio. (Subsequent Bluth movies included "An American Tale" and "Anastasia.") This was when "Disney" was floundering a bit in their animation department, so NIMH was a bid to steal its crown. NIMH was also much darker than what an animated movie would normally be at this time. (Though Disney dabbled in these waters too a few years later when they released "The Black Cauldron," though that experiment backfired on them.) NIMH has a gorgeous, cinematic musical score by Jerry Goldsmith, one of his best. While the plotting might not be air-tight compared to some of the Pixar movies of today (it's hamstrung by the obligatory short runtime), the story is still pretty intriguing. It even implicates the real governmental agency of the title, and has a built-in explanation for the trope of anthropomorphized/talking animals that tend to populate cartoon movies.
