The Genre theme for this month will be Sci-Fi

Every Monday after the first week of the month- There will be POLLS to VOTE from and to make REQUESTS!

REQUESTS made on our POLLS makes it a lot easier for us to find and add to our LIST!

Feel free to make REQUESTS in the comments below!

Monthly POLL line up:

4th Monday-

Genre Selection Poll- Choose next months genre theme for the Genre Specific POLL!!

Any extra weeks in the month will be filled with another Wild Card POLL!!

We guarantee at least 4 movies every month (including Movies that win our POLLS and a random Patron request).

Please allow us 1 to 2 weeks to watch and post the Movie Winner. We're usually able to it watch sooner.

Only 1 Movie can win each Poll. If multiple movies win, we will randomly select 1.

Why?

Our Patrons have very diverse opinions on what Movies they would like us to watch, so we try our best to accommodate everyone. Our most popular requests here have always been animations and super hero films which we mainly keep off of our POLLS due to some finding that unfair, so having 1 winner keeps options open for every active Patron here.

Movies that almost win are not guaranteed to be watched. We do surprise Movie Reactions when we can. (Usually 2-4 Surprise Movie Reactions a month)! That's a lot! Meaning up to 8 Movie Reactions total a month!

All Movies are Patreon Requests- whether popular or underdog. That way, every request has a chance :)

Most of our fans chat with us through Private Message, not on our Public Page, so please be respectful of everyone here. Movies that win are real votes.

Many of you have been with us for years and we love having you! Thank you for understanding how hard we work to create the same quantity of content like bigger channels do... while still keeping quality of course!

It makes us so happy when you enjoy what we watch! Thank you for your support and Happy Voting!

Have a great day!

Here are some late sci-fi requests: MINORITY REPORT (2002): Collab between Spielberg and Tom Cruise (right before their other collab, War of the Worlds). This one is way more thought-provoking that WOTW, and in my opinion, it’s just shy of being great. The world building is amazing, and there are moments that are fantastic. Cruise is good as always. This was the weird period in which Spielberg made everything insanely grainy and overblown, though that aesthetic really works here. GATTACA (1997): I’ve mentioned this one a ton. Ethan Hawke, Uma Thurman and Jude Law. This is slower-paced, more of the speculative type of sci-fi. It has a haunting music score, and coupled with the narration, it almost feels like a fairy tale at times. Like Minority Report, this is one of those 'in the near future' scenarios—though the tones are wildly different between the two movies. INNERSPACE (1987): So now we’re going way back. Directed by Joe Dante (who also did Gremlins) and produced by Spielberg. This has that 80s Spielberg vibe, but with the cartoony tone that Joe Dante likes. It’s sort of a fun spin on the mismatched partners concept. I absolutely love the majestic score by Jerry Goldsmith, which is kind of a nice contrast with the ridiculous plot. Dennis Quaid, Martin Short and Meg Ryan—pretty much at the peaks of their youth here. This was before CGI, and the practical effects actually won an Oscar. A.I.: ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE (2001): Perhaps the most underrated movie of Spielberg’s career. Yes, it’s very uneven. Yes, a lot of the threads lack closure. But the world-building is absolutely amazing. In some ways I wish this were a longer, high-budget TV series, rather than a one-off movie, so that the premise and character arcs could’ve been fully explored. Haley Joel Osment is as good here as he was in the Sixth Sense. This also clearly influenced later movies dealing with robots (such as Ex Machina), especially concerning the visual design.
