I've been waiting for you guys to continue the Rocky/Adrian love story! Rocky III is pretty good, but Rocky IV and V are like two contrasting halves of the same what-were-they-thinking silly whole. :P The one I really can't wait for you guys to get to is Rocky Balboa. Its a return to the dramatic, romantic tone of the first two films and IMO the 3rd best movie in the series. ❤️

I went back recently and rewatched the Rocky series, and I really enjoyed Rocky 5. I think it's very under appreciated, and there's some really good character work done by Stallone.

Well, pretty much any Rocky/Adrian stuff is usually the best dramatic stuff in all the movies; its really what elevates Rocky III for me, and as for the other family related matter, I feel It was done so much better in Rocky Balboa IMO. Outside of that though, without spoiling any of the details, what I said about Rocky V has more to do with its very dated tropes, style and presentation that comprise the overall bulk of the movie's writing, production, directing and acting choices (Sly and Talia aside.) It has a more serious lean than Rocky IV, but still comes off every bit as silly to me, even if unintentionally. Nothing wrong with silliness from time to time, but IV and V to me are like the odd ducks in an otherwise mostly consistently earnest, heartfelt, inspiring dramatic and romantic film series.

Please consider reacting to or at least include Rocky IV DIRECTOR'S CUT to the list which in SLY's opinion (and mine) is a much more improved version than the theatrical one.🥊
