I will definitely back up Clue. For a movie made from a board game, it is far better than it's roots would imply. It takes the game and twists it into a hilarious murder mystery that spirals out of control as bodies keep piling up around our guests. It is honestly one of the funnest movies out there. Nobody should go through life without having watched it at least once. Also, I will back up Holes. It's a pretty fun movie. It is aimed at a younger audience, but it's better than it appears from the promo material.

Oh ya, Crazy Rich Asians is awesome. So funny and well made. I love the scene with the Majong game. So great. Really a must watch. I don't want to say too much about it, but really should be on the list. Also, if they haven't watched the Goonies yet, like how? Okay, that's a staple of human existence. Can one call themselves a movie connoisseur and not have watched that movie? I don't think so.

Jordan Haddow

Wow, I'm pretty sure they have a 5 title limit. A little bit of an overload there. Also, if you want a title to stick, I have found writing a bit of a description of the show and why you think it's amazing enough to be on the list is a big help on actually getting it there. I will say though, Executive Decision, probably the best Steven Seagal movie of all time. I mean, as the movie goes along, his role just gets better. What can I say, you just have to watch it to know what i mean.

Jordan Haddow

OMG, Mr. Right. Are you sure they haven't watched that yet? Still, if they haven't, they should. I love Anna Kendrick and this movie is just hilarious while being pretty much insane at the same time. It's a happy go lucky tale of learning that accepting that you are insane is not a bad thing. Okay, well maybe it is a little, but not if you only kill bad guys, right? Super entertaining. Lego Movie, uh ya. Not much needs to be said for this one. I'm thinking they must have watched this one by now though, right? Who hasn't watched it yet?

Lochlan Phipps

Warrior (2011) Encanto (2021) Birds of prey (2020) Rocketman (2019) What we do in the shadows (2014) Think i got some good variety in there lol

Jordan Haddow

Honestly, with regards to Pride and Prejudice, would you rather they react to the movie, or the British miniseries with Colin Firth. I'm more in the mini-series camp, but it would probably be a lot more challenging to get them to react to a mini-series. Still, if you could, would you rather the movie over the series?

Jordan Haddow

True Lies is awesome because it's one of those epic over the top action movies, while at the same time being absolutely hilarious. We have a normal everyday boring family on the surface. Under the surface though, the husband is a secret agent handing the world toughest jobs. Still, his wife is bored with the boring life that is his cover, which she doesn't even know is a cover. Her search for a little excitement in life stumbles into one of his cases, causing the whole family to get dragged into a national security emergency where millions could possibly die. And the whole time, you will be laughing until it hurts. Really a good watch. Lethal Weapon is a staple of the Action movie world. You can't say you like action movies and not have watched it.

Anthony

Tick ,Tick... Boom (2021) :)

Evren

Totally forgot how amazingly funny Mean Girls was. And Parasite is also a great choice!!! Loved that movie!

Jordan Haddow

Law Abiding Citizen is an amazing movie. Pretty harsh, but very smart. A man who found no justice for the terrible things done to his family comes back to take back justice from the justice system that failed him. Think, Hawkeye during his Ronin stage, but using his mind instead of a sword. Also, he's after the failing justice system rather than the mafia. The accountant was a good movie. Kind of a different one, but I liked it. A man who is out of place in the world, and finds numbers more comforting than people, has found a dangerous niche to live in. He uses his unusually amazing talent for finding the leaks in peoples accounting records and applies them to the most dangerous clients in the world, drug cartels and such. Was a lot better than i thought it would be. Man on Fire. Epic action movie. A man with a terrible past is just trying to live an easier life, and so takes the job as a bodyguard for a young girl in Mexico. When she is kidnapped, he uses all the dark talents of his past to decimate any resistance in his way to getting her back safely. Hitman's Bodyguard. Super hilarious. A must watch.

I've requested Ex Machina many times. I get such a kick out of how it stars General Hux and Poe Dameron from the Star Wars sequels, but in very different roles.

Jordan Haddow

Ooo, The Long Kiss Goodnight. It's an older one, but I still love it. Epic action movie with a kick ass female lead, Geena Davis. We find her a normal single mother of a young daughter living a nice normal life in a nice normal small town. The only thing weird about her is she has amnesia. When terrifying memories start to arise, she gains unusual skills that seem to be coming back to her. Skills that start to prove that her, and her daughter's life, may be imminent danger.

Since you mentioned more comedies would be fun: School of Rock 2003 musical/comedy starring Jack Black as a "teacher" in a private school. Legally Blonde 2001 comedy starring Reese Witherspoon. Crazy Rich Asians 2018 comedy/family drama starring Constance Wu, Henry Golding, Awkwafina and Michelle Yeoh! A League of Their Own 1992 comedy starring Tom Hanks as a washed up baseball player turned coach and Geena Davis as the star player. The Parent Trap 1998 family comedy starring Lindsay Lohan. Bridesmaids 2011 comedy starring Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne and Melissa McCarthy. Pretty self explanatory. It's an R-rated comedy about Bridesmaids lol. Also please keep Anastasia on the Underdog Animation Poll! And maybe move A Bug's Life to Underdog as it's struggled on the Popular poll? Just a suggestion.

THE SIXTH SENSE (1999): Another reaction channel did this one recently, and I was reminded again of just what a gem it is. It became a cultural touchstone for a reason. It does so many things well, and it shows how good Shyamalan can be. PAN’S LABYRINTH (2006): Many people consider this to be Guillermo Del Toro’s best movie. It’s sort of a cross between fairy tale, gothic horror and historical drama. It’s also in Spanish, so it’s a good thing you’re back on the big couch so you can read the subtitles. LAST NIGHT IN SOHO (2021): This just released to purchase, and will be available to rent on Jan 18. Surreal thriller with supernatural horror elements. Amazing synergy between the music and visuals to the point where it’s practically a musical. The ending didn’t work for a lot of people. And yes, maybe it doesn’t quite stick the landing – but that’s the risk you take when you swing for the fences. EX MACHINA (2014): I had to mention this again. Thought-provoking and at times unsettling sci-fi. Small cast of characters which include Domhnall Gleeson and Oscar Isaac from the Star Wars sequel trilogy - General Hux and Poe Dameron in a bit of a role reversal.
