Oh Armin… he’s such a good friend and so smart during intense situations. And that moment at the very end was sooooooooo badass when everything just evaporated around Eren. My god, I can’t wait for next weeks reaction.

That scene at the end was symbolically one of the most powerful moments in the series. Eren was essentially tempted to sleep and dream about a life of comfortable bliss forever. At first, Armin reminded him of his desire for vengeance for his mom's death, but the dream can provide him the comfort of his mom being alive. Next, Armin tells him they need to get a move on or else the titans will massacre them, but the dream again shows him that all is well. Lastly, Armin calmly reminds him of his burning desire for freedom beyond the walls, and it's something that the dream cannot provide. So the dream evaporates all around him, reducing the fantasy to ashes.
