Howard has good intentions inviting Jimmy back to HHM... although it seems Saul has other plans... We are so excited to see two certain somebody's too! ;)

I think you guys are spot on with the Gus/Lyle situation. Gus is a control freak and very meticulous. The dead drop situation was something out of his control and unfortunately he took it out on poor Lyle

Also regarding the cold open (Him buying the bowling balls), that scene took place after his dinner with Howard.

If you look at Jimmy's shirt in the opening scene when he gets the bowling balls it's the same shirt he's wearing when he shows Mr Acker his "visual aid", so he actually buys the bowling balls that day not before his meeting with Howard.

I don’t think that Gus was acting out with his employee. If he was doing what he was doing it’s because he had a reason to. He wanted to keep him there. He didn’t have a reason to be upset about the dead drop and the DEA taking his money. It was the outcome he wanted. As we know he plays a long game. I don’t think Mike called someone. Gus probably is keeping tabs on him.

I always thought Gus needed someone to verify where he was all night to make sure his tracks are covered which is why he kept Lyle until he got the call he was waiting for.
