Welcome to the WILD CARD POLL- Special Edition!!!

As many of you are aware, Storm had her surgery on June 30th and to help her not be overwhelmed during her recovery she has requested that we do some Wild Card POLLS to take the place of our normal POLLS for a limited time. OUR REGULAR POLLS WILL RETURN once Storm has healed enough.

This POLL will be a lot shorter to help some of the struggling movies from both Animated and Live Action categories.  We may alter this POLL in the future since we have so many different ideas as to what a Wild Card POLL should consist of. We want to keep this fun and fair for everyone here. So please bare with us as we learn together what works best.

Please keep in mind that most requested movies we are blind to. We don't know exactly what genre or how popular most movies are and rely on your comments to help guide us. We go by requests that you all make, popular and rare...which this POLL is meant for just the struggling requests that need a helping hand.

Our main POLL before had popular and rare requests on there. Some lasted longer on the POLLS to give them a fighting chance, not because they were popular. Some of those struggling  requests may move over to this POLL over time.

Thank you for all and happy voting!

I love Rio so much!! 😍😍

Space Jam please! The new one should never have been made, no way it captures the magic of the original

jonathan Edge

Can you please put the drama A Beautiful Mind and the musical Moulin Rouge(2001) on the next Wildcard poll . They won't cause Storm any problems with her recovery at all and i think they could enjoy both of them . Just a recommendation .

Sohail Jafar

Space Jam would be a joy

Armchair Wizard

Omg, Space Jam doesn't hold up in my opinion.

Darius.

I chose "Space Jam", although, I don't care much for any of these, again. Disappointing to say the least, but that's okay, hopefully it'll be different next time.

Daryl

I hope The Green Mile can make the next one! ^o^

jf_lametta

None of the above tbh

The Tommorrow War. I like to watch a new movie and then see you reaction video after. I like to relive the fun, surprises, scares and awesome scenes.

ED209

Space Jam? Really? It doesn't hold up at all. Not everything we liked as kids is actually good guys. Should we make them watch 3 Ninjas or Airbud too?! Unbelievable.

Adam Grunther

Damn. Jojo Rabbit would have had a chance this time.

Matthew Richson

I’d much prefer Looney Tunes Back in Action. Much better movie then Space Jam, even though that is a classic.

Aaron Barlow

'Dog Soldiers' is a great movie. Sort of like a lower budget, British version of 'Aliens' with a supernatural twist. Please react to that!

Shehab Dawoud

I don’t hate Space Jam winning. I mean, it is a silly movie. But because it features the greatest athlete ever and characters as iconic as the Looney Tunes, it just about holds up… JUST. However, when Dawn gets healthy and the schedule gets back to normal, changes need to happen. I’ve banged this drum so many times and I’ll keep repeating it. The best solution would be to have genre-specific polls that rotate. It is the best way to keep as many people happy as possible and ensure fairness and every genre being picked within a certain timeframe. If we speak up, there’s a real chance it comes to fruition. I hope I won’t be fighting this fight by myself for too long.

Your not . I have said since they did voting Popular and Underdog polls that they need to change them up more to help other genre's and smaller films get their say as much as big budget films are getting their say . But i agree , they really are catering to the big films rather than the smaller films .

I believe this is two Underdog polls in a row in which Gattaca has appeared. I've requested this one multiple times, and I'd bet money that the ladies would appreciate it. Unfortunately, it's done poorly in both those polls. I guess this post is to stump for Gattaca, as I assume most people here haven't seen it and don't understand how good it is. If you like thoughtful sci-fi in the general vein of "Arrival," then you'll like this. Also, it's got Ethan Hawke, Uma Thurman and Jude Law. Enticing, no? And that's not all. I'll also throw in a free carrying case for anyone who votes for it.* (*Not really. But seriously, Gattaca is a great movie.)

Darius.

Honestly, I don't remember seeing this Movie, either way, it might be worth mentioning that the Director, Andrew Niccol, has also done Movies like "The Truman Show" (1998) & "The Host" (2013): That's an interesting mix of Movies, maybe folks might be more interested when trying to convince them. The Director of Photography (DP) who did "Gattaca", also did Principal Photography for "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" (2007); that should give folks some idea of Style.

I'm happy to see SPACE JAM on here, it's been a guilty pleasure of mine since I grew up watching it as a young kid. I am excited for the sequel, but I am keeping my excitement to a check, I don't wish to be disappointed like I was for Independence Day 2: Resurgence.

Room (2015) Pitch Black (Riddick series starring Vin Diesel.) The Bicentennial Man (Robin Williams) Bourne Supremacy Fallen

George Bean

Yes, FALLEN, that'd be an interesting one for them. "See ya around..."

Aaron Barlow

Great movie! A pity Space Jam won. Anything with 2d animation gets all the votes, especially if there's kiddy nostalgia involved. I know plenty of people who loved Space Jam as kids but say it doesn't hold up for them.
