This is Kim's first ever anime series! So curious how she can handle it and what she thinks! Also, please be respectful about us watching subtitle. I am new to this sub vs dub war, but have been warned by a lot of our fans, so thank you. We had a Sub or Dub POLL on our YouTube where Sub WON just by a small amount of votes... we may change to dub or go back and forth depending on popular opinion. We are trying our best to keep everyone happy as best we can and do enjoy the subbed version so far!

I started attack on titan. In my opinion, it could be a tough watch. I was hoping my hero academia, but I heard this show was pretty good as well.

So begins your first anime, I do hope that some day you’ll react to Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood and My Hero Academia. If you like superheroes you’ll love the latter. Though I won’t be watching this one with you, I hope you enjoy it.

Omg omg omg!! I’m so excited! I love this show!!! I understand why people prefer dub or sub, I definitely prefer dub for certain anime’s but the subtitle version for this is just.. the voice actors are so talented and convincing with their performances. But again I’m probably just biased because I watched the original version first. Haha but I hope you guys stay on sub during the show. It’d be odd switching back n forth.

Death Note would've been easier to get into for newcomers, plus it has a lot less episodes.

And quite frankly the debate can get ridiculous at times. Cause a lot of anime are good with both. But at the same time it can go either way. MHA for example is good with both. FMAB, dub is FAR superior. One Piece, dub sucks ass.

I think their first anime was Princess Mononoke, but this will be their first anime series so far.

I would HIGHLY recommend dubs for action-heavy anime like AoT. And the dub of this show isn't as bad as the sub-purists want you to believe. The replaced words like "believe it" and other nitpicky stuff, don't make an impact on the overall story at all. And there are great voice actors in the dub like Matt Mercer (McCree from Overwatch) and Ashly Burch (Aloy from Horizon). And even some of the main cast from FullMetal Alchemist are in there.

Which is why I’m hoping that they watch the dub for MHA if they ever get to it.

Yea, for me personally when it comes to someone doing a reaction like you guys, you should always do the dub version. Having to read the subtitles and then to react and talk is too much. And then on top of that you're reading and taking your eyes away when action is happening. Don't listen to those sub-obsessed people lol. Every reaction channel has to deal with them when they choose to do an anime with dub. But hey, this is your channel, and the decision has to be yours, I respect that. With that said though, I hope you switch to the dubbed version.... but either way, I'm happy you guys are watching this series. ✌😎

If you guys are down for a subtitled mystery show, I think this trio of reactors would be perfect if they ever wanted to get into 'Dark' on Netflix. I know they said Mom would have a problem with subtitles, but I think you 3 would really get into it. Just a suggestion :)

This is an amazing but tough series to watch! Everything ties in so well with previous seasons and hypothesizing is the best part! Plus the characters are so interesting - provide a lot of interesting stimuli for existential and controversial questions/topics.

I feel like Kim while Dawn and Tom discussed anime, the only "animes" I've watched are Pokemon and ATLA, and ATLA is not even anime lol.. This one finally arrived on Netflix in my country, really excited to watch it along with your reaction 😄
