I had fun with this thumbnail, LOL! This movie was great! Way better than I thought and we even screamed a few times! The classic music call of jaws was actually pretty intense!

One of the most quintessential movies of all time. The one that spawned the summer blockbuster. I remember how I used to be scared to death of this film, but now I just find it plain entertaining. I never get tired of it.

Oh, man. Two scenes I still have trouble watching are the death of Chrissy at the beginning and the death of Quint at the end. I love sharks though! They’re one of my favorite animals. 🥰

My favorite shark movie, saw this in 2000 when I was 7 and even then became scared to swim in an actual beach, always preferred swimming pools.

Jaws literally created the term blockbuster. Cause people would line up all down the block to watch this movie. Star Wars in 1977 also contributed to the term but it was this movie that started it all

Glad you finally got to see one of the biggest movies of the 70s. Jaws 2 is worth seeing as well but you can definitely skip the other sequels.

I finally watched this film with your reaction lol, I had only seen the the ending lol, looked it up on YouTube years ago. I really liked it, the shark looked scary, a CGI shark wouldn't have been as scary as this one!!

(TOM) When this movie came out in the 70's a lot of people were scared of Sharks and it unfortunately caused them to be hunted a lot and got labeled as "Man Eaters"

Yeah people have said it looks fake for years but that one shot of it underwater on it's side biting that man with the red boat in the pond still sends chills down my spine, sure looks real to me! I think how real it looks really depends on the camera angle. Sometimes it looks 100% alive to me and other times I can tell it's made out of rubber.

I love sharks now but when I saw this movie, as a child, it made me afraid of them. This movie sure motivated me to get good at swimming and I would even practice getting the hell out of the pool as quickly as I could. I figured, if I could get out of the water faster than other beachgoers, I'd be good. I don't have to outswim the shark, I just have to outswim the other beachgoers. :) LOL
