Just sit through this arc for now, because I guarantee that the next four arcs after this one are absolutely amazing.

This is the only droid arc I do like because it's very Star Wars-y at its core. Remember in the very first Star Wars you see C3PO and R2D2 wandering around the vast wasteland of Tatooine's desert in search of Obi Wan Kenobi; this arc is clearly a love letter to what started this all.

A lot of people think this arc is like ATLA's "The Great Divide". A boring filler arc but I love it. I like the Colonel and the droids and I don't want to spil anything but you meet an epic character on this arc. Also just a fun fact: you've seen WAC droids before, twice actually, first time in Phantom Menace, JarJar fought one when they all met Anakin for the first time and the second time you saw WAC droids as the mechanic droids in Mandalorian: https://youtu.be/o5EyYbC0DLw?t=101

It is something I've always wondered too about the younglings. If they weren't at the temple they might of had a chance to escape but if they were. :( yeah they probably did die to Anakin or the 501st clone troops.
