Hi everyone and welcome back! I have to say, I really enjoyed this episode.. I think we all did! Loved learning more about Ventress.. and this Mother character is very creepy and alluring at the same time. Are they using the force to perform witch craft? I love how it's so different from anything else we've seen on the show so far!

This is definitely where the show really starts to pick up and where is became my favourite show of all time.

count dooku is so dam badass. love that lightsaber fight so much. there is the living and the cosmic force. cosmic force= (force ghost) and the living force surrounds all livning things. i guess you can say the nightsisters bend the living force around them while the jedi just has it in them

A couple of interesting tidbits for you ladies: The voice actress who plays Mother Talzen is the same voice actress who dubbed over the Japanese actress who played Rita Repulsa in the original Power Rangers show. Count Dooku's "Pajamas" look was so popular it was included as a "skin" or clothing option to play as in the Star Wars Battlefront II(2017) game.

Their "witch craft" is made by using the dark side of the force. So yes, in short they're using the force, specially the dark side.

Fun Fact: Mother Talzin design was concept art for Darth Maul in Episode 1.

Ventress actually wasn't given up to the Jedi the first time. She was given to a criminal and became a slave, unfortunately. Then she was found by the Jedi and trained briefly as a Padawan before succumbing to the dark side when her master died.

Count Dooku attempted to kill her off because of Darth Sidious and the rule of 2. It's the apprentice's job to grow more powerful and overthrow the master. Sidious sensed how powerful Ventress was becoming and he's not gonna risk Dooku training a apprentice to overthrow him. Dooku sees that he and Ventress aren't strong enough to challenge Sidious so he does what Sidious asks in fear of retaliation. That's just my take on it.

This is the episode that made Ventress my favorite character. The same goes for Mother Talzin, I love her so much. Glad you guys liked the episode!

Yup, what I love about the series is that they use a lot of concept art for designs so ultimately a lot of artists' work is still used in Star Wars even if it didn't make the feature films
