Hi everyone and welcome back! I'm going to try to have these on Mondays instead of random after this week, LOL! Last week we had a Movie POLL for movies that have been less requested. This one will have more popular requests! Once this POLL ends, please give us a week to watch and edit the winning Movie. We are watching mostly 2 movies a week now. Whoo!

If your request didn't make it in, no worries! I am rotating requests, so yours should appear in a future POLL soon! Feel free to request again in the comments below too!

Thank you all for your support and Happy Voting! :D

I think Madagascar would be amazing for you guys to react to. 😍

Joao

Omg!!!!!! To manny good movies!!!

Matthew Richson

Looks like we can only pick one... Either Rango or Madagascar for me... but Django and Wolf of Wall Street... tough choice.

Anonymous

Love the wolf of Wall Street but it’s basically a porno film😂😂😂

Anonymous

Please just watch Arrival. You've seen so many cookie cutter blockbusters, this is still a blockbuster sort of, but it's such a great and mature exploration of loss and grief in a setting that shouldn't be so grounded (an alien invasion setting lol), yet is.

Anonymous

Men of Honor would be a great film to react to.

Anonymous

I'd love to see them react to Good Fellas or Men of Honor.

Anonymous

Wolf of Wall street will be a lot of fun ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Men of Honor has my vote this time. Such a great film.

Anonymous

Could we maybe bring Incredibles 2 back into the polls? 🥺

Matthew Richson

I know for sure that that’d get a good laugh out of a certain character in the movie...

Anonymous

Not a huge fan of a few of the films this poll. My vote for Good Fellas. Movie recommendations: The Rock, Bad Boys 2, Pearl Harbor, 6 Underground.

Evander

I really hope Wolf of Wall Street wins, that or Goodfellas

Anonymous

Evander is right. Give me Scorsese all week and twice on Sunday!!! Meaning Casino should be on here too.

Anonymous

Also I don't believe it's a good time to watch Django.

Anonymous

Would love to see Men of Honor win. A great military film, and Cuba Gooding Jr. is fantastic in it.

Jihad Lee

Definitely voted for Django. Great movie!

Anonymous

Voted for Men of Honor, but would also love to see goodfellas win.

Anonymous

Bring back Willow

Anonymous

OMG!!!! Hamilton please!!!

Kevin

JoJo Rabbit is a fanastic funny, emotional movie staring several people you would be familiar with and is fun for all three of you. For that reason it has my vote. Second place would be knives out which is a fun whodunnit you all would love. Third place would be Django to continue your Tarantino journey! And 4th would be Goodfellas which is maybe the best film of the 90s.

Anonymous

Would love to see you gals react to Men of Honor! Cuba Gooding and Deniro are both great in that film.

Anonymous

Not a big fan of the movies on this poll, so I'll just do eeny meeny miny moe... annnnd....Goodfellas it is!

Daniel R

Parasite. Parasite. Parasite.

JetpackSunrise

Well, it seems like the people voting on these polls have different tastes than me, haha. Men of Honor and Unstoppable are both perfectly fine movies, but (personal opinion) I'd much rather see most of the other movies on the list? Anyway, I voted for The Impossible because it's fantastic and deserves more than one vote ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Anonymous

Well, we all have different tastes. That's the beauty of the subjectivity of film.

Anonymous

Some suggestions. Moana, Lilo and Stitch, Prince of Egypt, Iron Giant, and LEGO Movie.

RANJINISM

Parasite. Parasite. Parasite.

Anonymous

Tough choice between Django and Wolf, but i had to go w django

YodatheHobbit

Funny thing, I don't think I've ever seen Men of Honor. Not sure why. and I don't quite understand why it's so popular on this poll when it's not a hugely popular film as far as I know. Must've just been a film which slipped under my radar. I don't have any problem with it winning since it's got great actors and I bet is a good story I'll enjoy.

Anonymous

Can you please do fantastic beast two you already did all the others.

CiviliNation

Unusual, but i think you guys should watch the 2019 Watchmen tv series, if you havent already, its the best written comic book series ever. Its only 9 episodes, so if you watch like 3 episodes in one sitting it can be like a 3 part movie

CiviliNation

First you mentioned my 2 fav movies of the year, then a movie from my list, and finished with Goodfellas, top 5 gangster movies of all time..well done sir

Anonymous

Are people using multiple accounts to vote for the same option? 😂 Men of Honour and Unstoppable seem to have overinflated popularity in the poll when they are nowhere near as popular as some of the other movies on the list, in terms of box office numbers and pop culture impact.

Anonymous

Well by that logic, why even have a poll then? They should just watch the movies that had the highest box office and pop culture impact, right? This isn't a poll of all of society, it's a poll of their Patreon members, and among those Patreon members, those are the 2 movies on this particular poll that most seem to want to see them watch and react to. Every poll it seems we have a few people whose favorite movies aren't being voted on, so there must be this huge conspiracy!

Anonymous

I was a big fan of the 2009 Watchmen film, so I watched the new series. But I thoroughly disliked it. But I'm glad you enjoyed it, it's great when there's something for everyone to enjoy. I just didn't care for it, and would vehemently disagree that it's anywhere near close to being the best written anything. But, different strokes for different folks.

Aaron Barlow

Please watch Dog Soldiers! Great movie!

Anonymous

Voted for Men of Honor, but Unstoppable would be a good pick to. Haven't seen either in years, but they would be fun to revisit with the Storm crew.

Also 'Conjuring 2' is amazing! Please watch!

I guess I’ll double-down on some of my past requests. None of these will top the polls, but hopefully someday they’ll get a random reaction. 12 MONKEYS (1995): My favorite Terry Gilliam movie. Sci-fi. He has sort of a grungy, steampunk aesthetic here. But unlike a lot of Gilliam’s movies, this one has a central relationship and plot that really make you emotionally invested in things. Bruce Willis, Madeleine Stowe and Brad Pitt. GATTACA (1997): I think you’d all enjoy this low-key sci-fi story. Beautiful cinematography and haunting music. The cast includes Ethan Hawk and Uma Thurman. Bonus: You get to see the parents of Maya Hawk (Robin in Stranger Things) star in a movie together. 10 CLOVERFIELD LANE (2016): This was a neat little thriller with some scary/intense elements, but I think Mom can handle it. Despite its misleading title, it is not directly related to any other movie and is a standalone story. In fact, I kind of wished it had been titled differently, because I think it would’ve been appreciated more for its own merits. (Also, it’s got John Goodman.) EX MACHINA (2014): Excellent, provocative, indie sci-fi. This one made me a fan of both Alicia Vikander and Domhnall Gleeson (who is *so* different as the comically arrogant General Hux in Star Wars). Like Coverfield Lane, this one has a limited cast and locations. It’s rated R, and I’m on the fence about whether it’s an appropriate one for Mom. While she would probably enjoy a lot of the story, there might be some scenes that would be awkward for a Mom reaction. But even if it’s just a Dawn/Kim reaction, it’d still be great.

WastedPo

Ooh, this is the first time I've seen someone else suggest Gattaca. Wonderful movie.

Anonymous

Ghostbusters 2, Maverick, A Few Good Men, Batman '89, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Power Rangers(2017 reboot)

WastedPo

It's interesting you mention the LOTR appendices. I think it would be interesting if they reacted to more things that aren't movies/shows, but rather videos *relating* to movies such as behind-the-scenes stuff, trailers, etc. I know they've sometimes done that in the past, but it feels pretty rare. (I'm sure making time for additional reactions is a challenge as well.)

Anonymous

Not too thrilled with this week's poll. Here are my movie recommendations: Batman 1989(My favorite Batman), Justice League, Predator, The Rock, Pearl Harbor, Remember the Titans, Bad Boys 2

They are definitely gonna enjoy Unstoppable, very edge-of-the-seat and suspenseful. I cannot believe it has now been ten years since I saw it in theaters, I was blown away by it, I even saw it was influenced by Jaws and Duel, Now if only they could add Crimson Tide in as a sort-of double feature. ;D

George Bean

I had just thought up a movie I had just recently found on Netflix that I now believe that the Akima Ladies could enjoy: It's TRAILER PARK BOYS: THE MOVIE from 2006, which itself is a film adaptation of a Canadian comedy TV show, but they don't necessarily need to watch the show to understand the movie. And to note: They oughta stick around for the end credits. ;)

Justin S.

Goodfellas is my favorite mob film ever so it is disappointing for it to get such a low percentage but I'm sure it will be chosen at some point. Maybe you could try polls of just movies from one genre such as action, comedy, drama, horror, mystery, and science fiction?

Anonymous

The problem with that is there is no way they would have the time to react to a movie from each of those categories. We're lucky they recently bumped their movie reactions to 2 a week. Honestly, no polling system is going to be perfect, and whatever is done, someone's going to be disappointed.

I don’t understand why you would would watch so many less requested movies but then not watch things like Arrival or knives out that get very close to winning these polls but never seem to be number 1. Just seems like an odd way to handle it but I’m not running the camel so what can I say

Anonymous

Um, they watch the movies that win the poll, and will also usually watch the movies that even though they don't win, come close to winning the polls. Arrival has a whopping 6% in this current poll, and knives out has 5%.

i feel like the movies that got far on the last poll arent being seen/recorded or mentioned again

Anonymous

I'm pretty sure they're just trying to rotate all the recommendations they get. So there will probably be movies on the next poll that weren't on this or the previous poll. So many film recommendations come in, they want to try to give as many films that have been recommended a chance to be voted on.
