Hi everyone and welcome back! This movie was so emotional! I hope you don't mind that I added a small 'Cat Cam' now and again since my two kitties Loki (black and white) and Maui (grey stripes) were messing around in my room so much while watching. LOL. So much crying too! Also, my face in the thumbnail XD

One of the longest movies I've seen in my childhood, if you don't count the Lord of the Rings. You should have The Last Samurai in the polls. Equally emotional and inspiring.

Great reaction for a great movie! Yeah, I think of all the tragic deaths in this film, the church scene always hit me the hardest. Especially after such a joyous wedding, and Benjamin and his youngest daughter having that beautiful moment. This was the perfect movie to lead into the 4th of July week. Not sure if you guys are going to pull anymore movies from the last poll, but if you're taking recommendations for the next movie poll, here you go: 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi, Warrior(2011), Batman(1989), Footloose(2011 Remake), Real Steel, The Rock, Air Force One, Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, bad Boys 2, My Cousin Vinny, American Sniper

Frankie H

The bad guy was played by Jason Isaacs, he was the head scientist in Armageddon, also Lucius Malfoy which you mentioned, and he voiced Admiral Xhao in the first season of Avatar: The Last Airbender.

A sad fact about this movie, the actress who played Benjamin's youngest daughter Susan, Skye McCole Bartusiak, tragically passed away in 2014 at the age of 21.

13 Hours would be a great movie for them to react to, especially for the 4th of July coming up.

CiviliNation

this is the last thing i would want to watch right now

Such a fun reaction from you guys, another great emotional film! I love this film! Always gets my patriotic blood flowing, especially that final battle as they're taking down those nasty Red Coats! Looking forward to your next reaction!

Yikes. This movie is dreadful. The portrayal of the British as villainous "baddies" verus the saintly Colonials (while forgetting entirely about that whole slavery thing) is soooo dishonest and completely over the top. Two thumbs down.

Lee Salvemini

I honestly had no idea it was a longer movie. I only saw a couple of scenes on TV and wanted to see it :D Thanks for taking the time for this one! Great timing just before July4 :D

I think there's 2 cuts to this movie, 1 theatrical and the other extended because the film I was watching had scenes that weren't even in your guys version.

Anonymous

the extended version doesn't really add anything to the story, so they weren't missing much.

Such a great, great movie! One of my favorites! Definitely one of my favorite Mel Gibson films(and there's a lot of great ones to choose from!). With 4th of July coming up, it's really the perfect movie to watch right now. The film has such a great and underrated score by John Williams. Loved the reaction, you 3 have really been reacting to films with a lot of emotional moments lately.

I absolutely love and adore this film! Very much looking forward to this reaction. I'll be watching this twice this week coming up, as me and my family watch this movie every 4th of July! Some movie recommendations(if you're taking them): Pearl Harbor, Top Gun, 13 Hours, Apollo 13, Remember the Titans, Saving Private Ryan

YodatheHobbit

I haven't seen this movie in years, will be nice to see it with fresh eyes.

Anakin Starkiller

This is a good reaction. Gettysburg is another great one and Glory is awesome. I'd love to see you react to either of those films

Megan Burland

u should do vimeo so u dont have to blur the movie for full.

Great reaction and emotional war film. Personally, I liked it better than Braveheart. Anyway, you guys should definitely react to Ransom (1996) at some point because that may be Mel Gibson's strongest performance. Of course, the Lethal Weapon series are very entertaining, especially the first two.

George Bean

Oh yes, Lethal Weapon 1 and 2, the Akima Ladies would def love those movies for sure (perfect blend of action, comedy, and even drama). Possibly the quintessential Buddy Cop movies. And yes even Ransom, it is def Gibson's tour de force performance (esp. in that one scene when he's in tears, if you know what I mean).
