We really enjoyed this movie! My brothers didn't really care for this one as much because of the Ewoks... but I thought they were cute and Mom and Kim seem to like characters like that, lol!

Luke was awesome in this one!

Yet another great reaction. The scenes at the very end with the different cities/planets celebrating were added after the prequels, so they are locations that will show up in episodes 1 - 3. Also the young actor at the end as the force ghost of Anakin is the actor Hayden Christenson who plays Anakin in the Prequel series. That is one reason alot of people (myself included) like the Machete Order (eps. 4, 5, 1, 2, 3, 6). That being the changes Lucas made to the end, that reference the prequels.

In the original cut, Vader doesn't say anything when he decides to save his son and kill the emperor, and I always preferred it that way. It was a lot more effective. Having him say no like that is so much worse to me. They also changed the song playing during the Ewok party at the end.

Overall a perfectly fine SW movie, with some superb moments, and a few bum notes. Especially Harrison Ford's ADR is not great. It's pretty clear he wasn't keen to come back. But, oh man, do i love that speeder bike chase. That, and the rancor scene in particualar, takes me right back to 1984 and 10 year old me in the cinema, seeing the coolest things ever put to film.

Thank you for reacting to the series. Star Wars and Lord of the Rings are 2 of my favorite franchises of all time. I am so thrilled that you reacted to both. I can't wait to watch your reactions of ep 1 - 3. They will shed some more light about the force, the jedi and lightsabers.

Hi Jan! We really enjoyed this movie almost as much as the others! I love Han Solo and wish he had a bigger role in this movie, but what you said makes sense. Glad he was in this movie at least! I can't imagine how much time and dedication goes into movies like these... especially when family is involved with intense schedules or not seeing loved ones for months. The bike chase was a lot of fun! I love fast scenes like that! Rancor was well done and still pretty scary! Love the talent and love put into this film! XD

Very cool! Thanks Francois! I am quite excited to learn more! I really want to learn more about the Jedi and lightsabers! I know many are against the first 3 episodes, but I very much look forward to them and don't want Mom and Kim to be influenced by others reviews. Can't wait to have our own opinions on these movies! I'm so curious and excited! LOL! So happy you enjoy these movies so much!! I miss Lord of the Rings and want to bring it back somehow with behind the scenes or something!! XD
