Hi everyone and thank you so much for helping our channel!

We've been getting a lot of request for Halloween movies/shorts to watch, so I thought it would be great to give you all a chance to comment your requests here! We will only be able to do a few if time allows :)

Please also let me know if your request is more suitable for Mom + Kim or with Nik + Li :D Anything too gory or disturbing I'd rather not do with my Mom and sister, LOL!

I decided we will continue with Avatar The Last Airbender since that kept winning our TV Series POLL. Yay! I will put a hold on any other TV Series for now until after this month due to the high volume of Halloween requests.

Thanks so much for being a fan! Please request below! Think movies, Holiday shorts (stand alone with no series commitment), viral videos, etc... I look forward to what you all have to say!

Also, Vikings 413 will be up here later today! TWD and GoT tmrw and Saturday... then Pirates 4 most likely Sunday with Antman2 following after. We can only do 1-2 movies a week and I'm constantly editing to get these reactions up all the time :) Thanks for understanding! :D

The Halloween series is a classic. lights out is also a good movie, based on a YouTube short, not gory. Hereditary is amazingly disturbing.

Jonathan Bruser

Not exactly a Halloween movie, but maybe the first two entries in the Terminator movie series, perhaps? They're sort of a combination of action and science fiction while also sort of being monster movies in a way.

Kacey Mcnatt

You really should try Trick r treat the film by Mike Doughtery it’s fun little Anthlogy type Halloween movie for this generation that me and friends every year since it came out. Wouldn’t say it’s gory or disturbing.

Iben Frederiksen

Hotel Transylvania! Or Paranorman :D

The nightmare before Christmas Danny elf man the voice of jack skellington is the man who wrote the music as well he is amazing and it is also Disney so it would go with your trip as well and is good for either Halloween or Christmas

Well, it's super obscure, but personally my favorite Halloween treat is a special 2-part Sleep Hollow episode of a 1990s PBS show called Wishbone. You can probably only find it on YouTube now, but I still think it was the best kids show ever. They have never released but a few spare episodes on DVD.

Hocus Pocus movie would be a fun one :D

Coraline or ParaNorman.

Goosebumps, with Jack Black? Although I'm not sure if that's considered a Halloween movie. Maybe Corpse Bride or The Nightmare Before Christmas.

I concur! This movie is a staple for my family on Halloween.

It Follows. Very creepy movie and doesn't rely on jump scares or gore (there are a few shots of course ) but nothing extreme) to get under your skin! Just a simple a concept: An unstoppable force is always walking towards the antagonist to murder them. It only walks, but it always follows. It's more suspenseful and creepy than disturbing. If you just want a fun movie, go for Cabin in the Woods. You won't be disappointed. Or if you want a family movie, Beetlejuice!

Sohail Jafar

IT? I don’t know if that’s a ‘Halloween’ movie though.

Goosebumps (for your mom and Kim)

Anonymous

Perhaps a comedy horror will work for your mom and Kim too. Something like A Haunted House.

Jackie Green

The night stalker( it is the first Kolchak movie. you can find it on youtube if you need. Just type in Kolchak: the night stalker and you should be able to find it). It is a fun 1970s horror movie that doesnt really have much if any gore at all and is very well written with some funny moments too. Kolchak is the main character and he is an investigative reporter who happens to stumble on some supernatural occurrences. He is a snarky and clever person who wants the truth. !!!! THIS WOULD BE VERY GOOD FOR THOSE WHO DONT LIKE GORE !!!!

The original Halloween since the new one is coming out soon. The new one is a sequel to the original Halloween movie 40 years ago. Just a thought.

Halloween Town would be amazing

Jackie Green

Also make sure to get the right one bc there was an amazing tv series of the same name. So looking at the timestamp and/or description would be a good idea.

Adam Vialpando

How about John Carpenter's The Thing. It's one of the greatest monster movies ever. Though it may be a little much for your mom and Kim. And by a little I mean a lot.

1dvsbastrd

I'm still gonna go with The Conjuring 1, 2, and Annabelle Creation. You can skip the first Annabelle because it sucks

Adam Vialpando

You kidding? Goosebumps is like the epitome of Halloween. Never seen the movie though.

For something extremely disturbing or horrific and if you don’t mind reading subtitles, the foreign film ‘Cache’ (2005) is a psychological thriller that would cause you to gasp out loud. This film is more for Nik and Li, because it’s really disturbing. I highly recommend this one, and don’t let the fact that reading subtitles would take you off the movie, because it’d still make for an awesome reaction. It may seem boring at first, but by the end of it you all will be astonished. Other recommendations I guess would be : Psycho (1960) for that shower scene and classic string music - this could be for either group. The Thing (1982): One of the greatest monster movies ever. Perfect for Halloween. It is a little gory though. Nightmare before Christmas: a musical that works as both a Halloween and Disney movie so that would be perfect for your Mom and Kim. The Cabin in the Woods (2012): a horror-comedy with a clever script, it’s written by Joss Whedon, so I guess that’s enough of a recommendation. For any group. The Shining could be interesting as well. Especially after Ready Player one. That’s only however if you think either group is ready for a movie like this. A slight recommendation. Hope you guys watch Cache though.

The Others - no gore, not very disturbing, classic ghost story. Excellent film with a great cast.

Rafael Benedicto

Attack on Titan. The anime, not the live-action movie. The great thing about it is, if you make it past Episode 1 you're all set for a new series ;D

Sherelle H

I would love to see you, Mom and Kim react to Hocus Pocus it'a a wonderful Halloween movie

Anonymous

The nightmare before Christmas. I think it's perfect for a family reaction. Is it for Halloween or Christmas I don't know ^^

stormakima

That's a great idea! Thanks for your request! I'm going to write all these down and see what we have time for and also have Mom and Kim vote too! ;D

stormakima

I have never seen this and that is a good idea! Not sure how much time we'll have for all these movies, but I'll also have Mom and Kim vote so we can agree and do at least a couple Halloween movies (maybe more!) Thanks for you request!!

Maria

Hocus Pocus or The Nightmare Before Christmas :)

Jeffrey Ferrer

Assuming the ending hasn't been spoiled for them, how about the Sixth Sense?

Ida Vinga

Corpse Bride and Hocus Pocus :D

stormakima

Hi Ida! Thanks for your requests!! I'm hoping to watch Halloween stuff when Mom and Kim soon! That will be fun!

stormakima

OMG, this is a good one! They do not know anything about this movie and that would be quite the shock! Thanks for this request! I'm going to try to get Mom and Kim together an extra day soon to watch at least a couple Halloween movies! Thanks for your request!

stormakima

Ooooo, yes! The Nightmare Before Christmas I've never seen!!! All 3 of us would be blind to this! Thanks for your requests! I'm going to try to get Mom and Kim together an extra day to watch some Halloween movies! Yay!

Buddah Da Great

Halloween (1978), Ghosts of Mars, Night of the Living Dead remake (1990), Fright Night remake (2013), Dawn of the Dead remake (2004), Stephen King's 1408, Jeepers Creepers 1 & 2, Insidious 1, 2, 3 & 4, maybe 1 & 2, Cabin in the Woods, Trick R' Treat, Final Destination, SCREAM 1, 2, 3 & 4, Monster House, ParaNorman, Hocus Pocus and Monster Squad.

Amanda P

I'm a bit late with this comment but Practical Magic is a good movie for Halloween

Wesley Hale

Over the Garden Wall! It is a brilliant piece of animation best watched around halloween, and the total length of all of the episodes is about the same as your average movie.
