Hi everyone and welcome back!

Here is our next Vikings reactions! Yay!

We watched the highly requested Bluray (EXTENDED/UNRATED) version of Vikings this time around. It's always beautifully done, but I may go back to the TV version instead due to editing complications. A lot of Blurays are HDCP and there are too many steps and other devices involved to record that content... meaning splicing to fit the TV recordable version to this was way more time consuming than I thought. I was quite impressed with how different the Extended and TV versions are... not only in length, but in order. Thanks for understanding and please enjoy!

Random note- this Extended issue only involves Vikings right now. Not The Lord of the Rings since the Extended version is available in other formats besides Bluray (Yay!) Thanks again all!! :D

yay! thankyou so much for all of your hard work, i'm sorry that the bluray version is causing complications with the editing and making your life more difficult, i really appreciate the effort and i know that yous will love the extra scenes that the bluray version provides, this season is going to be amazing and i can't wait to see your reactions to all of the episodes!! :)

Thanks so much Daryl!! I really do enjoy the Bluray version more and am so happy you introduced it to me! I'm going to attempt to watch a couple more and see how that editing goes... maybe some episodes are easier to edit than others? We'll see! :) I am impressed on how much care they put into every episode! I was pretty surprised to see 3 big scenes out of order with smaller cuts within in them! I am happy I bought the Bluray version! If I could record the extended, there really wouldn't be an issue :) Thanks again for your help and being such a great fan!! I am excited (and afraid) for this season! What an adrenaline rush! :D

Yeah i think some of the episodes will be easier to edit (hopefully). Some of the extra/uncut scenes are also not too important for the story and could be skipped over but there are a couple episodes where they really add to the story and make the episodes alot better, if there is an episode where they have important extra stuff i could always try and let you know before hand, that way you could do some of the episodes as "uncut/extended" and then some of the others as the normal version to make it a bit easier for ya. This season is also split into two halves for a total of 20 episodes so its super long, but you probably already knew that! :) if all else fails you could always watch some of the important "extended" scenes after you finish the episode because they have most of them on youtube.
