Google will punish everyone by freezing services until direct streaming stops- meaning videos won't work for anyone, even if you are following the rules (usually error messages pop up until many stop streaming).

The reason why they didn't use the laser weapons on the dragonfly ships (Ornithopters) is because that will kill everybody there :P Laser weapons shooting a shield causes a nuclear explosion on both ends. It's why they're fighting with swords instead. Interestingly, Chani was much more supportive of Paul in the book. In the book we have the virtue of Paul's interior narration to see all the doubts and fears of his rise to power, since we don't have that in a movie, it's given an exterior element in Chani's fears and doubts in Paul. I like the change. Another change is that it is heavily implied in the book that the Baron was sexually abusing Feyd. I can understand why they cut it, but it does add a dimension to why Feyd has a weird obession with his uncle (strength and power) and then his enjoyment at his death. Dune is from 1965, and is a massive inspiration to Science Fiction, obviously including Star Wars. But I think the reason why it still feels so fresh is because the stories it inspired follows the Chosen One storyline so straightforward, whereas Dune is more subversive, even though it's almost 60 years old. That's the central point of Dune that Frank Herbert stated really. It's important to question your leaders, along with showing how things don't really work out in the reality. It's a healthy dose of reality compared to all the hero narratives :P Paul sees the power form up around him like a storm and it goes out of control, and we see the consequences of blindly following our heroes.

Great reaction! I love this movie, for me Dune 2 is perfection, and yes there’s a third movie coming, Dune Messiah to complete the story, but only in a few Years, the director wants to make sure that the script is perfect. Oh and a TV series is coming out this summer, Dune Prophecy on HBO MAX about the creation on the Bene Gesserit sister, maybe you can react to the trailer, just came out
