New to VAM? Here's a quick guide! (Patreon)

Because of the influx of new patrons who are unfamiliar with VaM, here's a little guide on how to get my scenes working:
First of all, Virt-a-Mate (VaM) is a VR sandbox simulation game from Meshed VR. In order to run my scenes, you need to grab a copy of the game. Meshed VR | Creating Adult VR Games and Simulations | Patreon
You do not need a VR headset to enjoy VAM. You can also play in Desktop Mode, but I highly recommend trying VR for the added immersion.
Once VaM is installed, you can install my scenes by downloading the .var file from my Master MEGA folder where I upload my entire library of scenes. Select the scene you want and download any .var files in the folder.
Install these .var files simply by placing them in your VAM\AddonPackages folder,
.var files contain most of the stuff that makes the scene, but not everything! VAM is a community of shared scenes, assets, characters, etc, all of which are hosted on the VAMHub. All of my scenes have dependencies, other content on the Hub which I have used to help build the scene. On VAMHub you can find tons of freely shared VR content, it's awesome!
YOU MUST DOWNLOAD THESE DEPENDENCIES! It's very simple to do so, when VAM is launched simply click the Hub Browse button.
Dependencies are awesome because they allow VAM creators to build upon each other's work under a CC license, but unfortunately this does make VAM a very bloated game. It is entirely normal for VAM to take up >100 GB of space! So be warned.
VAM is a bit of a mess to be honest. Some dependencies disappear from the Hub and break old scenes. I try my best to keep my scenes functioning, but the older a scene is, the more likely things are to have broken over time. If you have any issues, hit me up on Discord, I am always happy to help new people get into VAM!
