April 2022 - Side Stories Poll! (Patreon)

This is it. I'm releasing the chapter within like 30 minutes...just putting it up on the site. This is the last side stories poll for Volume 8. Even if I run into May, June, July...I can't see a side story. Read the chapter and you'll see we're there.

However, in honor of the poll, I thought I'd give you the choice to really change how Volume 8 ends. This is the biggest poll ever in deciding the next arc and POV--so please think carefully. Chapter's out soon! Think very hard before you vote.

I need Erin to come back. She’s been gone too long &amp; as someone above said, “She need to good back to the Inn and be with her family.” They all need to go back to the Inn &amp; be together for at least a little while! lol

I don't know what to vote for. All option seem equally as good!

I vote for the [Innkeeper] who accepts all friendly species. (Psst, rumor has it Fraerling refugees are seeking a new home. They flee bearing technology that could even further augment Antinium engineering, protecting the inn against threats that previously took it down.) I would cast my other vote for Khelt if I thought it would give her inn teleportation (Wandering all over the map!), but that feels more like a class capstone at level 50.

So what if the choice is to see who gets saved? For example The Innkeeper will preserve the Liscor, Khelt will save Khelt and Ksmvr's squad, Erin Soltice will save herself instead of being sacrificed for the story, etc.

I'm voting for Erin Solstice b/c that is the core of her character. That kindness that is passed around isn't b/c of her class it's b/c of her character itself. She chooses to be an [Innkeeper] and she isn't beholden to Khelt itself, it being a matter of circumstance.

I think the tongue and cheek part of this poll is that they are all part of Erin, I think people want to see a closer relationship between her and Khelt in the future, considering that they're now effectively partners in protecting the world it makes some sense.
