Ok so just a random comment not about the chapter, but about the animated Bird. Do any of the Laptops have Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds" downloaded, and if so can we hear what Bird's reaction was if he saw it?

I admit, I was hoping the [Slavers] would be fed to nothings. But this definitely still makes me all tingly and happy. Fetohep is great. As much as I adore The Bedtime Queen, Fetohep is still just the absolute best Ruler. 10 out of 10. He’s the only properly inspiring King in the whole story. He can’t even use the mental fuckery inherent to the system that all the other [Kings] get since he became a revenant before he became a [King]. My grin hasn’t gone down yet ever since Erin and Fetohep finally got to proper talk and Fetohep got his groove back. He’s just the best!!! gaaaaaaaaaaaah!!!!! He just pairs so well with literally every character! And he and Erin actually work as an inspiring force for chaos comedy power duo unlike Erin and Onieva who seem like they should but don’t. Luckily on that front Onieva and Lyonette pair extremely well. But now I’m babbling about irrelevant nonsense! It’s because I can’t stop grinning and I type as I emote! Agggghjhhhh!!!! Anyways, yeah. This chapter had to follow that one. Going to Relc here would’ve been a big “Like wuh “ even if we did vote for it. I don’t believe that Relc, in the situation that he’s in, is capable of generating enough feel goods to counter the previous chapter like this one did. I could be wrong there obv, and I can see in my head theoretical worlds where Relc is such a good cop his chapter about race riots and indentured slavery has enough feel good to successfully follow Pisces’s. But just saying that sentence makes how unlikely that one is seem more obv. Too similar despite how different tonally. Too real, yeah. can’t follow up the rainbow with blunt social commentary. This though . I’m still ear to ear btw. That’s why I’m so inarticulate. Anyways, don’t work too hard, Pirate. These last chapters have been especially massive and fraught with curses. Rest those wrists if you feel like. 🦾

Also would want to see her gain edges with the leveling system.. or move people around the ‘world’ like she does her chess pieces or Inn folk. Is she really going to come back as a [Witch]?
