Not my favorite interlude, some interesting information but overall just... bland I guess.

That .... that's a lot to take in. Wow, so much new stuff!! Oh dear, I'll have to re-read it three or four times to understand it all! Drat. Shucks. Aw, man. *happy grin*

Forget the Magic Door. Just open up franchises and use the garden. One Garden 20 or so Wandering Inns.

My dreams of an actual wandering inn has suddenly become more than just a dream!

Russell Todd

If the inn does start physically moving around, please don't give it legs. Cities/Buildings with legs (even a lot of them) always feel so silly and weird looking to me. I'm thinking more of a floating castle type thing (but maybe not so high up? don't need mrsha falling) if it ever did start wandering. Leave a door structure in each location and then it can wander within their range.

If anything she'd just need to stick a magic door on a carriage lmao

I prefer longer chapters, but I'll take anything as long as you keep writing ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Enjoy your well deserved break! Love the thought of a literal Wandering Inn ;)

So it’s erin’s moving inn? Come’s with a magical door as well.

Magical Door on a wagon designed by Hexel!

At last the Inn will live up to the name!

Anonymous

Does she have to use the Door, if it's her she can open the garden there, can't she?

I just had a thought. If shit got supper real, and Erin needed to pull a massive trump card to protect Mrsha could she empower Mrsha with [Boon of the (guest) Teriarch]? he was a guest there for a few days after all. A little white Gnolls with the powers of a dragon. hmmmm. :) that would be so much fun.

Kevin Choi

Hmmm do the magic doors to the garden sanctuary work with the WanderingInn extension? How much building can Erin do and still define it all as 'one' 'Inn'. Cause... Combined with her actual magic door, this becomes a 100% teleportation network. Curious to see what Pirate comes up with for limits on Erin on this one. Though I expect level 50 at the end of the next arc is going to destroy whatever limitations come up during the next arc.

Well, AFAIK, it only works inside the foundation of the inn. It appears not to be limited to the original dimensions. Also, I was thinking, the sanctuary door clearly cannot leave the foundation, or else Erin would use it to go to the outhouse (Moore’s , it’s nicer and bigger. If it worked, that outhouse would have enough wall space for it to appear.). So I’m guessing the sanctuary door can’t travel, even to Inn owned extensions.

Anonymous

Didn't she open a door on one of the outhouses to let the gentlemen escape the guard raid?

Anonymous

I thought it was by them, like on the back exterior wall. I’ll have to check. If do, I stand corrected. I’ll look it up once my kids log into school.

Anonymous

The door appeared on the outside of the Inn itself. they ran to it.

Anonymous

It was not Erin, she had no idea how they got out there. She guessed they sensed the raid, and she could only guess that they teleported into the outhouses. She sensed them crouching back there, but thought to herself, she had no idea how they did it. She said she could have managed it with her garden door, but I took it as, she could have helped them escape, not teleport into the outhouse. I’m willing to say though, it could still be up to debate. I still think though, if she could, in the morning make a door appear on the exterior of the outhouse, she would and walk around and knock on the outhouse door to make sure it was not occupied (just in case someone coincidentally was inside, it would be safer and less embarrassing to not chance walking in on someone). Then make a door appear on the inside to jump to her room. If, in the middle of the night she had to pee, I really think she’d take the short cut and skip the walk and stairs, if for no other reason, to be lazy if opportunity to be lazy made itself available ;)

Tom Prouty

That’s both ludicrous as well as completely awesome. I hope that happens!

Scott Soper

Agreed, but consider if Erin built a micro house on a wagon with a sign that said, "Wandering Inn Mobile Suite #1, no killing goblins". One adventuring team to drive it, one innkeeper to host and manage it, and one random paying customer to distinguish the wagon as an "inn" instead of an "outhouse" or "fermenting shack" or other unattached structure that can't normally access Erin's skills. Could the garden of sanctuary reach between the two inns? Or would the mobile suite become the inn and leaving the skills shut off at the main building? Meh, it'll be fun to see.

I had the Antinium and my assistants cut this to design. It’s just an amplifying design, Miss Solstice. Now—install it there, and there, please.”...... ...Architects solution might boost the door to the emperors goblins....and the gnollmoot maybe. So much to happen in the next few chapters.
