Nice chapter. Hopefully Archmage Valeterisa will be cognizant of how much she owes the trio for restoring her integral self. If she then indulges in a little conversation with Ryoka, she might even get more pointers on how to achieve her breakthrough.

Valeterisa interrupts the trio's carousing and general mayhem demanding to know who they are. Ryoka replies that they are runners with a message, and at that point the fragments reunite: "The hovering [Mage]…stopped. All of her fragmented thoughts. All of her separate selves…finally came together. She became one once more and realized only now, how much she had lost. And it had all come from a single young woman." Valeterisa then just asks asks for confirmation that they are runners with a delivery. I'm not sure we have seen 'gratitude' at work yet (or any real conversation)

Great chapter...actually one of my favorites I think. But I love most chapters where people finsmd tons of loot and treasure. GO RYOKA! maybe a few dragons and arch mages will attend the solstice party.
