I still like Tom's chapters, even if they are depressing at points. Madness can be fun in small doses, then there's the aftermath.

Best Clown chapter so far! I don't mind it as much as others seem to, but being inside Tom's head is uncomfy even though the deep lore that comes with Clown chapters normally makes up for it. So it was really nice to have all the upsides of a Clown chapter without having to be in Tom's head for 20k+ words. That being said it would have been nice to have at least a few paragraphs from his POV.

When I saw there was a half-elf named Springwater I got super excited thinking there’s a new connection to Ceria here... then I remembered her name is Springwalker not Springwater... you got my hopes up pirate!

I have to admit that the Tom chapters have generally not been my favourite but there was some amazing world-building in this one! Can't wait to see where things go with this arc. Thanks again for all your wonderful work pirateaba!

Was there ever a time when the majority was right? - Lazarus Long (Robert Heinlein) Seriously though, these C chapters always remind me of Heinlein's writings and the way they forced you to question your perspectives and understanding of the reality around you. In their own way, each chapter Pirate writes seems to force a re-evaluation of perspectives.
