She needs to get substantial concessions from those lords for trade deal, they were part of Tyrion’s army and set off the riots. Best to sic Lynette and Malvolia on them, maybe some Wall Lords as well if she can find any

That was a great chapter. The change I felt was a more realistic and natural approach to what was happening. I find myself frustrated when I read stories where the protagonist can do no wrong and all their actions work out. I like this story where your main characters are flawed and depicted as human characters not just invincible super heroes.

The map is awesome btw.... I didn't think that the WanderingInn was so far away from the city though. You can basically walk the entire diameter of the city instead of walking to the end. Good thing there's the door, otherwise I can't imagine she would have regulars. Even with patrols monsters could get that get drunk regulars between the gate and the Inn. Medieval archers had maximum range from the walls at about 200M (.13 miles). Similarly Bird is firing from his tower.... During the story, we've heard that Halrac and Bird exchanged shots from the wall and the tower. Being .75 miles away seems a bit much, even for a fantasy world.... Maybe not for Halrac, but Bird seems to be a bit of a prodigy even then. In a fantasy world I get it, but still that means the wall are only constantly scanning for monsters let's say .2 miles away (doubling otl range for fantasy reasons) for the regular guardsmen.... With Bird scanning from the tower, let's say .3 -.4 miles away cause he's awesome, that still leaves .2-.3 miles not constantly on guard.... If the Inn was only .5 miles away though, it seems more credible. Sorry, my mind went on a tangent.

The old Lord's arguments to Magnolia felt weird considering he had defensible reasoning. Felt like him saying it's unfair was kinda lazy, where can that argument even go?

I think that might be the original inn.....the current in sits right outside the wall a short distance away....for some reason I thought the city was built up against a hill or small mountain.

Yeah she's turned down general as well....i would assume she will become the highest level inn keeper in the world....with kick ass skills to go with it.....id love to see her minor repair skill become replicate....so she can mass produce whatever strikes her fancy. Lol.

I think the inn is closer and the villages further, also I don't think there are any villages north of the city. In general I think a lot of the locations outside the city don't quite match the story, but it's to be expected since they move a bit from book to book anyways and if it was properly to scale we wouldn't see them on the map. Like the dungeon is on the same side as the inn, the bat cave is quite far from the city, etc. Still an excellent map though

I'm guessing that when the lords decided on confronting Magnolia they thought they would have time to prepare themselves before the meeting. The riot put them on the back foot and Magnolia purposefully kept them there by meeting them in front of the crowd and directly challenging them.

There isn't a chapter on Erin throwing a coup on Esthelm as it was skipped over. The closest we get is an explanation in 6.52 K but it's kind of downplayed then.
