I'm trying to follow feebly in the steps of the great webfictioneer ... Across two months, I've worked myself up to about 10k words every week, 1400/day. Then Pirateaba writes 33k as part 1 of a side story in 3 days. It's frankly amazing.

No. I would have liked a different side story, but I was going to like any of them, and I like this quite a bit. We're getting a hefty amount of worldbuilding here with sea creatures, a bit of a blank space before now.
