As always, this is a small reward for $10+ Patreons! In this case I can freely tell you: these side stories will not come again, oh, we might get similar scenes like Calruz being visited, but this particular window of time is closing fast. So I'm not offering these side stories twice. Find out what you want to read below!

A reminder. Don't tell anyone about the spoilers in this post. You can tell people in the poll what to vote for, but not why. Thanks!

Eg: You can say, 'vote for Minotaur in a Cell because I paid for the spoilers and I know it'll be the chapter everyone wants! The Gnolls and Magic story is gonna be just world building and poo.' But you can't say 'don't vote for Gnolls and Magic because Mrsha poos on Erin's counter and it's gross!' Not that I'm saying that will happen. At all.

A Minotaur in a Cell

Calruz speaks to people. In madness, in grief. What does the Minotaur say to his captors, if anything? What would he confess about his past, about his home? About what he saw in the dungeon? Is there a chance this isn't his fault? Or is he just...lost?

Not a happy chapter as you might imagine. Ceria, Pisces, and other adventurers would naturally visit Calruz, as would a certain young woman. He may reveal something important about himself or the dungeon or he may not. But what is certain is that our favorite Minotaur is grieving. He just may not remember why.

Gnolls and Magic

Perhaps as lighthearted as the last chapter would be sad. Mrsha gets to read the book again! And a certain group of Gnolls couldn't be more interested. All the ramifications of what Mrsha is and what she's done will be discussed, as well as their thoughts on everything that's gone down and how this will tie into the Grand Meeting of the Tribes, among other things. Expect Gnoll politics at their finest.

You want magic? This chapter has magic. You want cute Gnolls? Krshia's cute. You want discussions of why Gnolls can't use magic? You'll get a big piece of information there! Your favorite cast will all be there! Ishkr, Krshia, Mrsha, Elirr, Brunkr--

Brunkr is dead.

Embria Visits an Inn

Okay, now THIS is an uplifting chapter. I promise. Except that it might not be. Uh...Embria's not an uplifting character to begin with. She's more kick the legs out and stab. But she has a past, and while you might be able to guess some of it, no one's quite what they seem at first glance, is it? She'll talk. Oh, it might not be a friendly talk, or a happy one, but she'll talk. And maybe hit things.

If you want to know a bit about Relc's past as well, vote for this story. You might find you like Embria more than you think.

Pawn and the Fallen

The dead fall again and again. And the Soldiers bear the brunt of it each time. But while the Antinium had risen and fallen and risen again for their Hive, at last they are changing. At last, true Individuals are emerging like Pawn and Yellow Splatters. But they aren't...quite like those that have come before them.

I'm honestly leaving this chapter the most open because there are a few ways it could go. Suffice it to say that I intend to give at least one of our Antinium friends a levelup and maybe a Skill. But will that edge out the rest? Hmm.

And no, Bird will not be the main focus of this story. We've had enough of Bird recently. Let him dream of birds in peace.

The Dream of Redfang

Where did the Redfang Tribe really come from? What's it REALLY like in the High Passes? And did the Redfangs have any friends at home? Lovers? What about parents?

In this theatrical release--eh, just kidding. It's the Redfangs dreaming about what was, what is, and what will be. Not just talking and sitting around either. This chapter will see them go somewhere no Goblin has ever walked before. A story of triumph? Perhaps. But none of these chapters will be without some moments of sorrow. And this chapter might make your furious.

Still, if a chapter has ups and downs, this one will have a moment in the sun.
