Hey everyone! I just received the finalized version of a cover I had commissioned for the Wandering Inn book! I need to edit and revise the first volume so I can publish it as an e-book, but this will be my cover for both the digital version and the printed one whenever that occurs!

I think it looks great, and I have to thank John, the artist from JAD Illustrated for creating this. I hope you enjoy it as well!

i hate ebooks with passion (dont know why), but i´ll buy the print version when it gets out ;)

I don't ever read ebooks either. I'm going to release the first Volume as an ebook because there will be quite a few typos I don't catch--that way I can keep editing it and not release a printed version with unfixable flaws. Not sure when I'll get a print version that's without error, but when I do I'll definitely be using this cover!

I really like this illustration!

I like it. At first I didn't. But then I thought about how nice it is to have that one bright window (fire, warmth) against the gloomy rain. A lot of the book does have that feel to it.

Um, so. I don't really want to say this. But it looks like this is the time. I've had several friends who LOVE fantasy literature turned off from the Wandering Inn (when I insisted they read it) by the first two chapters. I personally probably wouldn't have gone further than those myself . . if I hadn't already seen how (literally) tear-jerkingly amazing an author pirateaba is from having read another of his stories (a fanfic on erfworld.com). Now Wandering Inn is my single favorite publication, of any sort, on the Internet. So . . I feel that the first two or three chapters don't live up to the rest. I'm worried other readers might miss out on the wonder that is Erin Solstice's story because of them, if they're published as they are. Being honest here, trying to be helpful. Other Wandering Inn fans, please don't hate!

I've heard the same. The story starts slow, which isn't bad, but the first few chapters just need something else to make them interesting. I've tried editing them and I just can't figure out what to write. I'll definitely have them fixed before I publish, though. I totally understand what you mean and appreciate you pointing that out!

Lush. Love it.

The mountains seem a little close. Also, where's Liscor? Other than that it's a beautiful, emotive image.

I'd wish for Liscor too, because that's the main constellation, isn't it, but heck, when it comes to cover art one is lucky when it isn't total bogus? Actually the inn seems more fortyfied than I remember it, that's great, with the ground floor in stone and all. But who are the creeps in the dark? Goblins? Gnolls? With kitchen-knifes? The first one could be a teen-bear.. ;-)

May have already made the most awesome phone lock screen picture ever. Hope thats okay!

I like the cover much more then any of the others. I like it a lot but would have liked to see more sunshine. It feels like s fairly happy story to me. For the most part

Love it!

Weird, I thought Liscor was on a floodplain and the inn itself was just a slight (minor) hill. Is it actually in a more mountainous region? I know the High Passes are there, but I thought they were like ~75-100 miles away.
